    to encourage flashlight use - no one ever uses flashlights because its perfectly able to see even in houses at night. Using flashlights is cool and atmospheric and something a person would do irl, and also comes with risk/benefit tradeoff so is an interesting gameplay mechanic that until now has never been required to be used.

    I noticed that in Build 41 (playing on the latest version as of this post 17/03/2020)  the divisions between textures on walls, and on some floor tiles, is especially more prominent as compared to 40.

    Ah, I see. Good point. I couldn't care less who DrunkOnLife is, vid was posted on official PZ  YouTube channel, might as well be one of the Devs/internal testers. Thanks for clarifying, though!

    Thanks, I haven't used the mod, so I wouldn't know.
     
    Also, modded gameplay being posted on official PZ yt channel is what made it confusing.

    Please, for everything that is holy, disable the car-wrecking damage of saplings and trees when just driving past slowly.
     
    The massive speed debuff is enough to get you killed when zombies are nearby, and this is fine.
     
    Maybe leave in trees (not saplings!) damaging windows and windshields - that's cool and realistic-ish. There is no way a small sapling would damage a car window when driving past. They are too short, and too elastic.
     
    Also, some saplings are impossible to distinguish from harmless bushes, and this becomes a huge issue when world erosion kicks in.

    This has been reported a few times already, this is to bump this issue. Red outline is confirmed no-forage zone (roughly). Yellow outline is where I suspect there is no foraging neither. Please fix.
     
    Super-annoying if you have a base in this area.

    I've posted this on reddit, but posting here as well, so it doesn't go unnoticed.
     
    Before 3x3 tile looting zone, every tile of ground had 50 capacity.
    Now every 3x3 tiles around player has 50 capacity.
    Because of this, ground capacity is 9x lower than before.
     
    Please increase ground capacity.

    Hunger seems to increase really fast even at normal air temperature (21ºC). I'm barely moving and in less than 3 hours I'm already peckish.
     
    Also, recovering from hypothermia is extremely hard, because of the low heat generation and the constant tiredness and hunger (which increases even faster).

    Items worn on character could use more weight reduction.
     
    You guys added so many cool clothes, but they weight too much when worn, and it adds up if multiple clothes are worn.
     
    I'd rather have 1.2 more carrying capacity than wearing a cool hat, socks, t-shirt, and i.e. apron.

    This week’s Thursdoid is a quick walk-through of where we’re at we’re afraid – nothing super-sexy, but hopefully a few items of interest.
    NEXT PATCH
    The next patch, 41.21, is now in internal testing and feature-locked aside from any new fixes or balance. We’re trying to schedule these releases for the start of each new working week, so fingers crossed this coming Monday we will be seeing the following in the public IWBUMS beta:
    The new (expansive) tailoring submenus replaced with a new clothing UI for each individual garment – where blood/rips can be seen clearly, and cleaning and repairs can be performed. WIP version below. General balance for the new insulation/thermos system. Includes: slowed body heat gain/loss rates, slightly easier to regain the feeling of warmth, less general sweat in colder temperatures, water resistance added to relevant garments and increased energy/fluid consumption in extreme conditions. We’ve also begun separating out the more technical aspects out of the current ‘debug’ style UI. Visible bandages on the player Fixes for: walking-in-place zeds (hopefully), sheet rope blockages, disappearing/reappearing vehicles and many/varied other issues BEYOND
    Next of our required big ticket items will likely be Yuri’s new fire visuals, and also some specific ‘challenges’ for the Kingsmouth paradise island and film set maps.
    In terms of other stuff required for the big relaunch and 41 release, meanwhile are the travails of Zac: poor old lovely Zac, still waist-deep in our zoom/hi-res branch.
    Formerly we had this working well in testing, as both an optimization and  visual improvement, aside from occasional issues – but the fixes for those occasional issues have run ever more deep into the codebase.
    We’re increasingly aware however that this has now begun to steal manpower away from MP, which isn’t really fair on those waiting for it, so might have to reassess the situation next week once it’s clearer how much longer Zac’s toil could be.
    Finally, seeing as it’s been a dry-doid overall, here’s something else RJ’s been cooking up that will likely appear in a patch or two’s time:

    I noticed that there are two kinds of jacket that are both called "jacket" even though they have different weights, and they protect different areas. Can you rename the longer one "long jacket"?

    I noticed that you can place any long gun on your back... Maybe a prerequisite for this should be a sling ?

    Now that you can wash yourself without soap can there be an option in the context menu to wash yourself without soap if theres any in your inventory to conserve it at the cost of it taking longer ? I'm having to pull my soap out and droping it on the ground so conserve it for clothes.
