  1. As mentioned on the website, have a go and try make the IP address private somehow. Share it to the active members and the newcomers. Shame to see that someone wants to ruin the fun for others. I can't see much point in why someone would do these attacks..
  2. "Sometimes we have to fall, to rise strong once more"

  3. We should most definitely get a website up and going once the server is fully active and such. As a Steam group to me, only feels like it's filling half the community together. Would just be nice to have a place for our fellow survivors to fill in on their day around the server.. and such, you know. Forums and such And if possible, we should really make the whole website themed as a diary book of some kind. The homepage displaying the diary cover. And as you progress through the website to the different forums the diary opens up and change pages(that doesn't mean the website needs animations or so. If you've played "Dead Frontier" before, I'm sure you know where I'm going with this). The forum pages could contain (nearly, fully book page covering) pictures of one or more outposts with possible side notes displaying the different forum topics ontop of em. The website could also be abit pixel styled. Just alittle, to give us the PZ feeling. And even our personal theme song perhaps? A real great ambient, dark, kinda apocalyptic atmosphere one, eh? At the time as I type this, I'm not in a suited location to finish all the ideas but I'll most likely return with more ideas once I'm.. home. Hope my ideas sounds interesting and possible to execute for the server
  4. No problem. I sure want to see this server make it through. It'll stand with my price for now and let's hope more folks gets interested in this awesome server ^^
  5. You know DeadEnd.. whenever I tried to look for a great server that includes rp, pvp, pve traders, outposts, events, stories, whitelists in Europe. I never found it. It simply doesn't exists I think. Which is a real pitty for me. But your server, despite the 140 ping I balance on at all time, despite the spikelagging zombies and despite the slow, slow, slow map render parts. You've really slapped up a server idea here that I've never heard of before. All the features you've spoken about to put into the server to make it a balanced rpg and pvp, it's really attached me to it. And I'm gonna be honest, I've looked for so many servers with these ideas that you've brought up.. but I've never found it. It would be a shame to see this whole thing fall down into oblivion, like most servers do after awhile. Because I sure as hell wanna stay. It's just the stability and perhaps some improved ping that's in need of a fix to make me stay on your server and possibly start my long thought PZ Gameplay. So here's my deal.. I'll stand up and donate for this server, around 2-5$ each month. I sure as hell would do it. Just to have this fascinating server running on for a long, long time.
  6. Think the server just crashed again by 15:00 GMT +2:00. GG ME EDIT: I haven't been able to join for soon 3 hours now.. EDIT: I haven't been able to join for 6 hours now
  7. Hey guys. I'm guessing it must have been during a server restart. The server restarts about twice a day to 'refresh' and provide a smoother experience. I've noticed the lag spikes (ping jumping to 200s) when a new player joins. Not sure why this is, seems the server takes more resources than it should to adjust the new player. But it always resumes to normal shortly after, within a minute. So just waiting a bit, striding away from danger should do the trick. The server box is running on the best equipment I could provide for it (Cat 6 wires, 1GB connection speeds router, modem and switch) and the PZ Server is the only thing running on the server box. However, it is running off a D:20mbps , U:5mbps regular home broadband connection so smooth connections won't always be possible the more crowded the server gets. And also, the game itself can be a cause of lag since it could be drawing more resources than it needs or inefficiently communicating with the server. Also, keep in mind that lag goes both ways. it depends on the server and client. If your too far from the server and/or your internet connection is choppy, sporadic, or crowded, it could all be a cause of lag. And that all could also be true for the server but so far no one else has had lag issues. But hopefully you aren't experiencing this lag constantly. Whats your average ping Dodge? Also, glad you're enjoying yourself in the server. If you guys ever have any issues, don't hesitate to post I see.. well, the server is in the US sadly enough. As I'm located in Sweden but the server sounded really interesting. But I'll try again.. BTW, just wondering another thing, how long can these restarts take? Cause.. arond 03:00 last night I couldn't reconnect for eh.. 2 hours. I tried for 2 HOURS, I mean.. it shouldn't take that long right?
  8. Server down? Can't seem to join anymore. Logged out around 02:50 GMT +02:00 to get a drink, tried to connect later on but no luck..
  9. OMG, SORRY. I've been completely digged into school for a few days now and I missed out on the launch?! *sob*... Can I still join under my character name and password I privately sent ya for a few weeks ago, Dead End? Never mind! I went ahead to hasty and didn't read the Survivor list. I got it, I'll be visiting shortly
  10. This server sounds promising and awesome from what I've read so far. I would love to give it a try
  11. Indeed. Just having something to do in the game by those long waiting times would be great and fun. Instead of tapping out from it..
  12. Hi there folks, so... yeah. Me and some other folks has been spending alot of our nights on a few multiplayer servers now for some time. And as it becomes very dark by the time the stars starts showing up, it becomes very hard to work. So we've mostly talk and such under that time. And at one point I wondered: "Wouldn't usable playing cards for the multiplayer version be the perfect time waster under the dark hours?" I mean.. I'm sure it's already been thought of, but I ain't seen any conversations about it around the forum before. But the great thing about it I imagine you can do is, you find a deck of cards, gather around a campfire and start a game of poker(for example) with a few lads. You could bet a gun or some food items, ect. And actually have something to do under the night or day. Depending on if you don't have something to do. It wouldn't have to be something super complicated to put into the game. Just the cards hovering infront of the screen, having a few animations there and there. Ah.. there's more I could describe it to be like but I'll leave it for there and I'll hear what you folks think of the idea.
