  1. Unsure whether a moderator has seen this, so I'll bump just in case! Also, if anyone sees flaws in my logic please point them out!
  2. Because we all know the best time to apply medical equipment to open wounds is when you've just wiped your arse. Jokes aside, I'd like for it to be container specific (your fourth point) so that you don't sit down and suddenly start taking things from high shelves etc.
  3. First off, I'm unsure about whether this is the right subforum to post this in. That said, onto the suggestion! So, I briefly looked into Lua whilst looking at job prospects, before moving onto other programming languages. Now, I've not looked at the game code because I would't know where to start. But having encountered the bug where fridges stay switched on after the power has run out, a thought occurred to me which could serve as a temporary fix until generators are implemented. The basis of the idea, is a global variable I will call globalPower. This could either be true or false. When globalPower is true, another variable called fridgePower will also be true. When this is true, items placed inside a fridge will be cooled down and refridgerated. However, when both variables are set to false, that buff is lost. The same would apply for cookers, but I've not encountered one of those which still works. Hopefully this helps, although I'm personally unsure at how the fridge would know the variable is being applied, as I don't know if it classes as an entity or not.
  4. Huh. I figured since they can burn their own feet by pooping on them in battery farms, then the amonia would be harmful to plants.
  5. I wasn't aware being a hypochondriac was a profession I'm not sure if I conveyed that properly, those were the traits I was talking about.
  6. I think chicken do-do contains amonia; I'm not sure how useful this is when it comes to fertiliser. Also, I can safely say from experience chickens do not make the ground "freshly tilled"- my fathers chickens have done the opposite and just make the ground more compact by the looks of things. Terrible smell too; maybe this'd attract Zeds?
  7. Of course; it is insane not to utilise trait points to their fullest. However, as some people choose unemployed for the exact reason of not having any traits at all, it wouldn't affect them at all as they aren't forced to use them. Meaning they can go back to their hardcore worlds.
  8. I think the idea is more, you have initial points to spend on your character traits as opposed to unemployed having no bonus. I think it'd be a good idea personally, since you aren't forced to spend those points.
  9. Hmm... Are you able to set new variables for vanilla items? Perhaps give the towel a vaariable value (I'll call this wetTowel for now) between 0 and 3, where 0 is dry and 3 is soaked. Then, have wetTowel values depending on how wet the player character is (So for example, if the player has the first level of wetness, when they use the towel have wetTowel set itself to 1. A wetness level of 1 would correspond to water gained being 25% or something) I hope this helps, it has been a while since I've used Lua for programming; I've been focusing on learning syntax for the ETC Ion.
  10. I'll make it later; physics revision first!
  11. Just have it determined at spawn. 1/4 chance they are tamable, 1/4 chance they are feral(Attack you on sight) and 2/4 chance they are neutral(Attack you if you go too close to them.). If you add time to it, then it's just a pain for the devs lol.But as time goes on, a dog will become more wary and behavior would change depending upon experiences. For example, the dog in TED by Telltale games season 2 premier. It acted nice, if a bit wild, but when Clem didn't feed it she was attacked.
  12. Does the water gained scale with how wet you are? I think you could set up some kind of conversion where x wetness will yield y water, perhaps making it exponential so that it has a limit
  13. In my opinion, dogs should only be tamable for the first week or so, after which they go fully feral. And even then, some of them wouldn't be tamable anyway (think mistreatment by owners, and just the nature of dome breeds)
  14. I am totally game for this. I beat my grandad, dad and little sister in every game I play.
  15. Hi! I was a lurker here for a while, before deciding to make a profile and my own welcome post. At this point in time I didn't have Proect Zomboid for money and parental reasons, but God spoke and sent speckle to my thread, gifting me with this wonderful game. And whilst I haven't had time to really play during the past week or so, I'm still a massive fan of this game and I'm going to write many fan fictions about it! When I get time, terms and conditions apply. Please see back of box for details
  16. Unless 'natural' zombies also get those sprites whenever they have a bag on them.
  17. I on the other hand like NEO.... now ... let's fight To the death, squire! What's NEO, if you don't mind me asking?
  18. I like the DayZ one alot; easy to manage, and it factors in volume better. Perhaps inspiration can be taken from there.
  19. Perhaps instead of being locked out the server, you can follow different players with a sort of death cam.
  20. Of course I do. Do you even lift bro?
  21. Because I'm a massive Joker fan, and Heath Ledger's iteration used to be my profile picture. If a muon neutrino collides with a pi+ meson, how much of that did you understand? And if you understood, what is wrong with that statement?
  22. Mud. I shall not humour the joke! What is better, TWD or Breaking Bad?
  23. Well, you could have been... y'know.. plagerising. That game looks very familiar... Plus I had to think of something to complete the meme. I take it you are rebooting Tetris?
  24. Not sure whether serious reboot or just troll e.eI do animations in pivot sometimes when I have nothing to do at school.
