  1. I don't like how in Season 2 they makes Clementine do everything.

    Has anyone else noticed that?

Everytime something comes up it's always Clem that they volunteer to do something.

She's a little girl and even though she doesn't act like it at times I still find it really odd how everyone around her acts useless.

Clem go over here, Clem go over there, Clem do this, Clem do that, Clem I need you to...

It sort of worked in Season 1 with Lee because he's a grown man and also a good leader but doesn't work so well with Clementine.

I think that's one of the major flaws that Telltale made.

Another thing that bugged me is Jane. She's basically Molly of Season 2.

Looks, acts, and even sounds similar to Molly. Probably the same voice actor too.

They should've went with a different type of character with a different personality.

  2. I've been giving it some thought and finally came up with the best food to have.

At first I though the best plan was to capture and breed rabbits for a steady supply of fresh meat but I thought of a better food.

    Nuts and seeds.

Peanuts, corn nuts, cashews, almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, etc.

High portable, highly concealable, high in protein and iron, light weight, nearly non-perishable, delicious, easy to eat. The list goes on and on.

You could store many bags of nuts and seeds in a backpack, you can portion them off, you can trade them, you can keep a handful in your pocket, you can bury bag of them in ground to hide them.

You don't have to just eat nuts and seeds but you can keep them as emergency/reserve food inbetween searching for other food.

Stockpile them in the background while your dine of perishable food.

  3.

Yeah... controller support still isn't working.

All it says in-game is "Player 1 take control" or something like that. But no matter what you push nothing happens.

You're just stuck standing there with that stupid message.

What's the point in checking the 360 gamepad option in the menu when it doesn't work?

and did you do as i posted above? i say it again, pushing ANY button on the controller prior to the game being 100% loaded, with your character standing there looking at you, will result in it NOT working.

Well if it was that easy then why haven't the devs corrected this?

maybe their concentrating more on things like NPCs, new builds, map expansion and other such things?

Seems like it would only take them a few mins to correct this.

    What mods are you using?

    New weapons and gear?

using the Yet Another Weapon  mod (updated for build 25)

Is there anything special I need to do to make it work with Build 27?

nope, just make sure you download it from the thread i posted, that has the updated version

well, the usual start game, activate mod, close game, restart game routine for any mod.

    Alright, thanks.

  6. generally... you ask before you post this kind of thing, my mod is still being actively developed. - sent you a PM

Hehe.... that is how I play...

I mean, like physically be holding a game controller in one hand and then holding a computer mouse in the other, but I notice you've mapped the mouse to the right analoge and right bumpers.

    Yeah.

I have the mouse mapped to the controller only for when I'm feeling lazy and want to sit back.

It's not very effective and a bit slow.

Like I said, it sounds and probably looks unusual but it works.

  9. The built-in gamepad support for PZ doesn't work or at least has never worked for me.

It's always been broken even though other people say they've used it.

My method is pretty weird but it does work well.

HAHA, here I was thinking you were playing with a controller in one hand and using the mouse with the other =P

Hehe.... that is how I play...

i play with a controller, and absolutely love it. as pointed out above, the keyboard is still necessary for some things, but when i'm running from West Point to Bedford Falls, or fighting a group of zombies it is so much better than having to rely on wasd to run/move, or the mouse to fight. i personally would never go back to hitting I to manage inventory either, and now that construction is possible, as is filling water containers from a barrel, it just makes it that much better.

How did you get your controller to work?
