  1. I've noticed (around the construction area in WP) that there's this generator like sound, but, no generator to be found and it only seems to appear when in moderate-high exertion, it blocks out the panting but I did hear some panting at the end of it. Not sure if it's directly related to the high exertion sound effect being loud but it is pretty major. It sounds like a really loud fridge humming, plus a generator. It's very weird, but it may be the high exertion one (I just thought that was related to the breathless sound being loud, not this sound.) Edit: Hearing it in more detail it's definitely the high exertion already reported, so ignore all above. Also, is it intended to be able to run 5 straight hours in-game without getting moderate-high exertion? I had only an empty gas can on me plus pen and paper and the original items (clothes).
  2. I think I posted this in the tracker before, or somewhere. Or maybe I forgot. Yeah it should be 4 nails. Probably more for other barricades too.
  3. Working escalators confirmed? Ban me from the thread.
  4. Dragons 100% confirmed by HTML code EnigmaGrey.
  5. Possibly with animations, anything is possibly possible with the possibility of animations. In all seriousness, with animations the stuff Lemmy (or someone in a mondoid) was when zombies were slowing you down, they wanted an animation for it because it looked weird. Plus, zombies maybe eating your corpse once your downed. I've only just realized how still a zombie stays. I'd actually love if they rolled over and tried to grab your leg rather than lunging forward randomly as a crawler or popping up after a few seconds. Plus, I'd love if walking to their head and hitting them did more a one hit kill type of thing rather than the current repeatedly bashing their leg until their head explodes.
  6. I didn't see cracking/popping listed though. It was in the last build but, as I said, it still occurs.
  7. Is the cracking/popping fixed? It was supposedly fixed last build, but it actually still persists.
  8. I experience delayed lighting effects only in the mall area and West Point's main area. So sadly I never play there. :/ Hopefully that performance patch fixes this.
  9. I agree that the creaking happens to often. At least in normal houses. When in TWD Prison mod, it suits it perfectly but I think there should be more varied sounds happening in certain rooms (such as a boiler room or something) less frequently.
  10. I still have them. And so do a few others. Also just quickly joined a multiplayer game and noticed the fridge hum was cutting in and out, is that intentional for the power failing or something? I doubt it is honestly. Man, I hope you can fix the popping/crackling, take your time though. We have a stable build to play still.
  11. I don't mind, I've had so much fun when the servers were full to the brim so I really enjoyed it. Especially the chaos originally starting in a fixed spawn point and getting killed the second you spawn. So many memories already.
  12. Is there any more? It looks so cool, I really want them.
  13. Why is it not fun? They tweaked the zombie numbers so it's actually possible to move around at the start of survival without dying instantly.
  14. Well you can turn down the ambient volume slider in options. But they are quite loud, I keep them up for now so I can hear the new noises.
  15. I tested just now and got no popping but I can't have my volume loud now so I'll try again either soon or tomorrow. However, I have to praise FMOD, the sound of creaking walls and wind howling was amazing! It adds so much to the game. With some sound I have no idea about (one sounded like a werewolf and pig mating + getting eaten by zombies). But I imagine myself 6 months into the apocalypse with only a bow (and arrows) and a schoolbag visible on my back, flashlight equipped secondary walking through a school corridor with the light flickering as the walls creak in the school and the wind howls through the broken windows where erosion has taken over. That's just my dream and I have no doubt that TIS won't deliver.
  16. Damn. I'll test it now. It's really annoying.
  17. I know, it looked pretty stupid. I'm sure with animations for the zombies it'll look better if they fall over the chairs and crawl.
  18. No, definitely not, I killed them and I had to move the chair for me to get down again. :/
  19. The latest episode of The Walking Dead begs to differ. That was a sofa though. I think it should be a bit more better explained. Some ways an armchair could block them, at least block stairs, but they noclip through it. Maybe I'm wrong. I don't know.
  20. Is moving furniture just to decorate or to barricade? Because it doesn't work for barricading. :/ I blocked the top of the stairs with an armchair and they walked through it but I can't. Same with dinner chairs up against doors. I know it sounds stupid because of how it looks against the door, but with an animation that tilts the dinner chair it should be pushed against the lock, even if that wouldn't work so well it should hold them off. So do I submit it as a bug to the tracker or is it just for decorative purposes now?
  21. Yeah I think we're all getting the popping sound. Hope it's fixed fast because I turned off all my pz sounds
  22. Is anybody else's sound cracking and popping after the latest update? Randomly when I'm standing still. no music playing, no zombies growling, just birds whistling. It's like someone hitting off a mic when they shuffle around.
  23. I haven't read through all this thread, I found one or two in the tracker of the alarm not being heard when inside a building, but mine is different. When an alarm is on, and you get a certain distance away, it turns off. When you step back in, it turns on until it stops sounding altogether. I presume it's supposed to fade out but it actually gets louder and then cuts off.
  24. As much as I don't like dying before I reach the next day in all my playthroughs now, I genuinely think NPCs will balance these current settings out. The chaos at the beginning of the game will be massive with some NPCs running rampant, which will give other NPCs the time to relax, and the player too. All depending on how you go about things. Right now, the zombies are literally chasing after one person in the whole map. (Not exactly, but you understand, they can only be spread out by random noises and not other people). Plus, people sometimes forget... This is how you died.
