I don't know if this should be in the suggestion posts section but it fits in here: How do you think about map transitioning. When a player gets close the the map border, a textline will flash up like 'You are leaving <insert location name>' or an unobtrusive way like a small blinking text in the corner 'leave?' and the coordinates are saved when the player confirms this. After the confirmation the graphics fade out and the new map is loaded - with the player positioned relating to his 'leaving' coordinates. - on the map border of the new one.
