Thank you! Yeah that's true with the boss but I found it fitting after working at a restaurant. The managers had a snub office like that. As for the grocery store it is based on the layout of on in my hometown. Also thanks for the tip Sieben, I started discovering those tile sets on these two buildings and am adding them as I use them.

Hello everyone. I've been so obsessed with the tool set since it was released. After a lot of studying Thuztor's amazing mapping guide and a little tinkering myself I've gotten comfortable with it. I have some houses that I'm working (especially the forsaken roof) but I've gotten some done. I'd appreciate any feedback to help me be a better mapper. I have a decent internet connection and got a group of people to game with me. Everything was great but I had it on insane zombies which everyone was a little annoyed with, just a preference of mine. Anyways, I changed the server settings, did a soft reset with the executable in the game folder, and now nobody can join. It just says connection failed and my console doesn't report any incoming connections. I've tried checking my ports and even re-doing them, having them delete my servers files, deleted my own servers files, uninstalled Zomboid and re installed it. Nothing. If anyone has any suggestions I'm open to anything at this point. It just confusing since it initially worked perfectly.

When zombies were still animated I had a great RP session, but since everything is so desolate everybody seems worse off. Maybe a reset soon for fresh loot and zombies?

I looked around and didn't see anything in the stickies or posts about it. Everyone posts these nice screens of their buildings on white backdrops, how do we do that? For example I'm looking to capture pictures of my buildings like this: http://i.imgur.com/EiYe86C.png (I take no credit for this. The author is Jinja.) I could screen capture it in BuildingED but the grid is an eye sore.

Have you thought about bringing the server up to build 25 Cmclellan?

Haven't seen many trolls or hackers lately and this is still one of my favorite servers. We could use a few more players and the Admin is nice. Thanks Cmclellan.

Hah, thanks for sharing this. It was fun remembering what I have in my apartment. I'd be alright in my home town but being the hopeless romantic I am I'd stupidly go to Boston to try and save my wife. The brownie points I'd win if I pulled that off....

I've never found water to be difficult to find in game but it is really easy to extract water from all kinds of plants. Here is a wiki-how I searched up quickly to show. http://www.wikihow.com/Collect-Water-From-Plants Also I don't see why we cant used rotten food to create compost for fertilizer. On the subject of farming there are plants that can be used for repelling and killing insects that eat crops. I'm sorry there isn't any specific plant names but it's some uses of plants that come to mind.

I'd like to have this feature available but with the means to disable it like PvP. As mentioned a few times in the thread it would be great for roleplaying as well as challenging scenarios. An example for both would be spawning in a jail cell with handcuffs on as the police officer opens the cell for you out of sympathy. Of course he left the door behind him open and a zombie chomps down on his neck. Knowing his fate he shoots the zombie and then passes out from blood loss. If the zombification is quick then it'll be up to the player to grab either a weapon or the keys, also all the attraction from the gunfire. If the player chooses to remain handcuffed and escaped the station it would be a sort of mini-event to find a way to remove them. If he grabs the keys anything could happen, with the chance of being scratched if they don't leave quickly. With the handcuffs you could kick down a tool shed door and use a pipe cutting saw, or have another player use an axe. I'm excited to see the crafting system improve to add more improvising but that is a different thread. I'm for the handcuffs, and with this solid community and great dev's I dont see this going anywhere near the way of DayZ.

I was at the far end of West Point at the lonesome house. In the woods I had taken my time luring zombies from the surrounding fields making sure that every zed was dead. Awhile later I was there chopping trees and sawing logs, enjoying a 'sandwich', when that god forsaken alert music fills my headset. I grab my mouse and frantically swing at the sneaky guy only to see about half a dozen more lurching towards me. Needless to say, as I frantically walked away, I was dropping logs I was so scared.

Is there going to be a reset soon? A lot of Muldraugh is picked clean although I've managed to equip myself with what people over looked. I like the scavenged atmosphere but I think it persuades many to not play in the server.

I've been over in West Point and haven't seen a soul. I know someone was about when the doors I close to check for activity were left open but on my scouts I couldn't find the one responsible. This is the only problem with having global chat disabled however I enjoy the sense of realism and would enjoy a PvP RP if it could be enforced. Trolls just ruin the experience for me every time. Thanks for the server bud.

Although there were few people, mainly no names, on this server I enjoyed it a lot. The insane number of zombies made holding out in the middle of West Point a blast.

I run around as Joe Shmoe. Seemed like a good name for the zombie apocalypse.

Built a sexy fort in West Point on this server. Met a lot of very nice folks, one of which I accidentally shot due to fright. It's amazing how protective you get when you have a level 4 skill. Thanks for the server!

This server is great. Been running around with a buddy and him and I bolted straight up to the logging company. He was scavenging while I was barricading everything and things were going good. Funny moment where him and I needed to find food and we ran into town. In a urban house we were sorting our packs full of food and put our 8 sodas on the ground. That was when we heard the window open. I yelled someones in the house, and we were struggling to get our pistols out of our pack. In the panic we ran out the front door as the bedroom door flew open and in barged the unknown man. I had my pistol out finally and ran up to confront him, reentering the kitchen I noticed all of the soda was GONE! For a moment I was bummed and mad, then I realized I had a gun. I jumped out of the open window he escaped through and jumped in the next house after him. FREEZE! I yelled when I saw him, holding my pistol up at him across the table. Thankfully he only had a melee weapon which he put away. Since I had such a good time getting my pop back I let him keep 3. My buddy and I walked out of the house leaving him there, fired a shot into the head of a nearby zombie and disappeared back to base. Anyways...I'm unable to connect to it at the moment and cant wait to join it again.

Thanks for hosting a server! Unfortunately my game hangs on 'loading.' for your server and I haven't been able to log in. I have not had this problem with any others and I'll try again when I'm home from class.
