  1. Thank you for the referral. I sent Alice a PM regarding the problem. Edit Found this post. http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/4793-adding-maps-to-the-game/?hl=rawmap Tried to replace the ones I wanted to but it ended up making the game hang on starting a new game. Not sure if I did something wrong or not.
  2. Okay so I deleted my local files then deleted my c:/user/me/zomboid folder with all my saved data. Loaded it up, having to re-do my video options and everything, and the problem still persists. Connall joined the server and reported zombies and items were good to go. Come to find out Texas joined the server and he had the same problem I have. I tried removing Dreadwood from my files to see if it'd download it but it just hung on the loading screen. I'm wondering if I should just shut down my server and try and get someone else to help me out, it seems I'm destined to not host a server. Which brings up a good point that now makes me feel like an idiot. It's because I'm trying to run my own map on the server. If I spawn in West Point or Muldraugh everything is fine which is probably what Connall did. So that being said, how do I make sure items and loot spawn on a user created map? I thought that stuff was included in the .lot files when you do the final export, since it asks you for the zombie map.

I've been mentioning I'm releasing updates on Mondays now. Originally I was just excited to get the latest build of the map to you guys but I'll make you wait a week. ;]

I think I added a readme.txt which explains the process. If not copy and paste the dreadwood folder into projectzomboid/media/maps along with Muldraugh and West Point. Then you can choose it from the Sandbox or Survival game mode along with the other two. Also sorry Count Awesome, I updated it on Monday. I'll add dates.

There are plans to have the all merged onto one map. I've never tested it in conjunction with any other map so I don't expect it to work so well if at all.
  6. Wiped every save I could find from my single player and any multiplier game I was in before. Still nothing. *flops like a fish*
  7. Well I can join anyone's server and play just fine, it's just mine that give me an issue.
  8. Yes I can do single player just fine. I've tried disabling my firewall completely to see if someone wasn't being allowed and still nothing.
  9. Interesting, any suggestions on how I've managed to put myself in my own pocket dimension?
  10. Here is my console. I messaged you with the server info.
  11. (sorry for double posting, paying for a server with nothing on it.) Do you think it could have something to do with the memory allocated to the server? I don't see why but the map loads probably 3 times faster than it would in single player.

Alright I'll do that from now on, thanks Dito. There's a building of 'old town' (brick building area) that you spawn in and is missing stairs. Sorry bout that. Also the boarded windows of the old hospital in the same area are just aesthetic for now.
  13. Still no zombies or items. The only file I changed was the sandboxsetting.xml to change the default zombies from normal to high. I only delted the servertest folder to reset things. It'd prompt me to make a new admin password but still continue to be void of zombies and items. Here are what my files look like. sandboxsettings.xml SandboxVars.lua

That's the second time that's happened to me. I assure you I'm following the correct procedures and it's the result of the (sentient) cloud. I'll re-upload it until it corrects it but I'm currently in class. But I think I got it anyways. Let me know.
  15. Wow this is beautiful. Cannot wait to be able to run around in it. If I can get some time to help out I'll see what I can do.
  16. I plan to add on to it yes, just focusing on other areas of Dreadwood at the moment. What kind of stuff would you like to see?

Thank you Ditoseadio, that means a lot to me. <3 Keep an eye out for 1.6 later today with...even more detail!
  18. Hello, after much struggle I've gotten a linux server up and running. Only problem is there are no zombies or items. I cannot seem to find a way to soft rest or use the executable for server options. I went into the sandbox file and set the default to high number of zombies then deleted the servertest folder. Still have nothing and am not sure what to do.
  19. On the outside looking in

  20. Got it! Just no zombies or loot at the moment. o.O

Yes, it was supposed to be open. I'll see what I can do to make it more distinguishable. Also sorry for anyone exploring the college. Stairs were left out of the design although other floors were built. It'll be fixed in the next update.
  22. Thank you guys for all of the help but everything has been quadruple checked. You're right Czenkova that I didn't give all of the information I needed to narrow this down. I have ports 16261-16269 open for 8 players. My firewall and antivirus allow Project Zomboid and before I did a soft reset I had others playing in my server. I have given up, broken down, and bought a VPN server to host a server on. Again, thank you guys for the suggestions.
  23. The hospital looks great Sieben. It'd match perfectly in the new military base I made. Also the interior is gorgerous, good attention to detail. Cant wait to fight zombies here.
  24. Hello Xeonyx. I'm not at my computer in which I do my editing so I hope this isn't inaccurate. It sounds to me like you need to, after you've dragged the images on to the cells, convert them to TMX. To do this go to File -> BMP to TMX -> All Cells. I really hope this helps and if not let me know and I'll continue to try and help.

I cannot wait for zombies to be able to spawn indoors. It'll make exploring the bigger buildings like hotels and apartment buildings much more exciting. At least for me. :B Are you talking about the tall one near the greenhouse? Texas made that one and it's one of my favorites!
