And then you could hang a flashlight to the ceiling using a rope and treat it as some sort of ''modern art'' lamp thing.

If this idea were running for president it would have my vote.

No, but Termina Field is Link's Purgatory.. It's a long story. Check out Game Theory: Link is Dead..
Wait.. Not sure i catch your post...

Yup... I got the idea from that theory..

Why get worked up over the circumstances of your loss? You failed to use the mechanics provided in game to prevent a loss, one that which makes perfect sense realistically, and therefore you lose... You shouldn't get worked up "omg my character killed himself and there was nothing I could" when there was absolutely plenty you could do, just like you shouldn't get worked up "my player starved to death and there was nothing I could do".

People say that they are against suicidal depression because "it takes control out of the player's hands", but you are in no less control of your depression than you are of your hunger... and my idea of a trait would give the player the choice to even have to worry about it. It's just a loss condition that the player can opt into or out of.

This is -so- being sig'd
That being said, the average survivor in PZ seems to have big clanging brass ones, considering how often people dive into the centre of West Point without cleaning it out...

unsaved_progress reacted to Walther in Books not wasted and panicked when gun aimed at
this should only happen when you see the gun pointed at you... not that the panicking becomes an indicator of someone aiming at you (even though you don't see him/her)

Nailing mattresses to the walls and windows. It works for blast-induced shrapnel, why not zombie ears?

It should work with build 23 I haven't tested it specifically, but it has mod loader support.
With the 4 months I meant me being inactive on the forums... That being said, anyone who's willing can contact me if they want to continue the mod.
I'm having a slight problem of fried motherboard at the moment, so I'm sorry to say that I won't be able to even try working on this for quite a while.

I still disagree with the whole "direct control" argument; you have the same control over your depression level as you do over your hunger level... you're in direct control. It would just be another long term threat that this game could benefit from. Or, how about this - a trait: severe/suicidal depression. "+4 (?) - If severely depressed for an extended period of time, there is a chance of automatic suicide." -

I will test now!
They definitely do. That was completely terrifying. I killed a zombie with a kitchen knife, then when the new ones spawned they instantly started attacking me so I spammed the kitchen knife insta-kill attack which created a small horde in seconds. I'm not sure that playing this mod with running zombies would even be possible without finding a firearm in the starting house.

Hello there, here are few minor suggestions for PZ.
First one is when somebody reads a skill book, the skill book shouldn't disappear. It should stay, so someone else can read it. It's realistic.
Second one is to get panicked in multiplayer when somebody aims a gun at you. You'd be panicked if someone aimed it at you, loaded or not, in real life too.
That's all for now.

Yeah I think the cooking of the soup is a bug atm.
As for the toilet bowl suggestion, while it is true, that normally will make you sick. It's best to, after maybe a week or so of play, to try to find as many cooking pots/buckets/watering cans as possible and fill them and store them, in case you can't find enough garbage bags and get your carpentry to 2 in time. It helps to have the extra water around just in case something happens.

Yeah I think that if it was use sparingly so that it really creeps you out, then it would be amazing. I could imagine maybe things like hearing a window smashing downstairs and heading down to find that everything is ok would also be pretty creepy. Hallucinations could also work for NPC's, say you happen to glimpse a guy with a shotgun pointed at you from the side of your vision, look back and he's gone.

Hey,
So I was reading a thread and I came across someone mentioning the old zombie hallucinations which used to happen in older builds, I was wondering if the developers plan on re-adding this?
For those who don't know, basically when you were infected by a zombie, during the late stages of your sickness you would start seeing/hearing zombies that weren't there. It was a really scary feature, I remember I would be in my house in the dark, and walking down the corridor I'd just see movement in the room as I walked past, seeing the outline of a zombie shambling towards me (which vanished out of my field of vision as I was walking past), so of course I turned to fight it only to notice it wasn't really there.
This was an amazing feature, and should be reimplemented maybe as a form of insanity? This could be great if you start seeing things that NPC's and other players can't see, it would really drive the mental implications of a zombie apocalypse as a game feature.
Thanks,

This is the greatest mod out there no question. It adds so many interesting layers to the gameplay and the visuals. It snows for Zeke sake!
It's a little bit buggy (blobs of purple seem to indiscriminately appear everywhere) but by gosh if this isn't the best thing to happen to PZ since ever I'll eat my Spiffo!
Love the mod, won't play PZ without it Definitely should be incorporated into vanilla, although modding is so easy it practically is. Hoping the dev finishes up this mod soon because I love it so much (as if you couldn't already tell).

Well, it is... through the use of Mods
The joys of extensive modding tools being available, and a great community. From time to time decent mods get incorporated into the vanilla game as well.

Yea thats a valid argument and its so hard to compare both, first of all the apple is fast to eat and juicy while the orange while being juicy too doesnt offer the kind of fast eating possiblity the apple does.Altough ive heard of some mod people use to eat the orange skin which then bring the orange back on par with the apple speed Wise. The most overlook point and what make the orange the best of the 2 i think is the fact that its using a dual -core. The outside core serve as a proctection for the inner core which can then preserve is integrity in much harder condition then an apple would. You could then point out the pomegranate but that would be like comparing the ressource usage betwen 2 different game .
