    If you have a flashlight in your primary or secondary inventory, then you should be able to continue reading. Or by a campfire. Or with the light on in a pre-power off state, if you want to invite all Zeke in the neighbourhood over for dinner.

    Damn you, all my character does in the dark is wait for the sun to come up and read a book but you are so damn right that I have to take that simple pleasure away from them now, are you happy with yourself? Best idea.

    I like the idea that someone's depression can bring the whole group down. I'm guessing there will be lots of little details like this added to NPC interactions, it sounds like the devs are cooking up one hell of a pie. Also, yeah just drink Bleach™

    Yeah a room within a room is a sweet idea. Depends how the sound travelling works in game though as to whether that would work. I guess egg cartons are the foil hats of soundproofing.

    It would be awesome if guns pointed at you make you panic (whether they are loaded or not) but if you hear a *click* (as in they have no ammo) then you immediately lose panic status.

    Yeah i see no reason not to have egg cartons in the game. They could be in fridges with anywhere from 0 (some people are lazy and keep the empty carton in the fridge) to 12 eggs inside and just add a bit of variety to the fridges. Like garbage bags, they then become multi-purpose, allowing you to 'barricade' walls the same way you do windows and doors, but with egg cartons, and you can put up to six (or some arbitrary number) on a wall (and it is visually represented). Cool idea, and yeah with generators probably a must have Plus you could setup an indoor sprinting circuit. Or a shooting range.

    said no-one ever I'm sad that lemmy said the positive attributes were a coding error. I always liked how it gave you a + to your happiness stat...if you drink me, everything will be alright, all your troubles will fade away....

    I've attached a whole bunch of screens here https://imgur.com/a/dkTTB Basically, to my laymen's brain, it looks like bits of Zeke's clothing assets (as well as shadow sprites and naked bodies) are being randomly dispersed across the terrain as if they were shrubs or vines. It's hard to know when you see something like this in a WIP if it's a known bug/issue or you are the first and only to have this 'feature' Anyone else get these weird artefacts? I care not for artefacts, Erosion Mod is still my favourite mod. EDIT: there are some purplish bits in some of the photos towards the end, but in general I guess blue is the prevalent blob hue

    I think i saw this original post too sfy, it was contained in something unrelated so i think OP has extrapolated the bit he wanted to talk about in a fresh arena (possibly) Anyway, me personally, i think its a cool idea. anything that adds a bit of weirdness like that. i even like the idea of having a nightmare where zombies are attacking your barricades and it all seems futile, all your items have turned to spiffo and bleach, you think the game is glitching out or something, you get bitten and then boom, you wake up. I would love that. But i could totally see it getting annoying if overdone. So yes, I'm all for adding back in hallucination Zeke. And anything that topples out of from that idea

    This is the greatest mod out there no question. It adds so many interesting layers to the gameplay and the visuals. It snows for Zeke sake! It's a little bit buggy (blobs of purple seem to indiscriminately appear everywhere) but by gosh if this isn't the best thing to happen to PZ since ever I'll eat my Spiffo! Love the mod, won't play PZ without it Definitely should be incorporated into vanilla, although modding is so easy it practically is. Hoping the dev finishes up this mod soon because I love it so much (as if you couldn't already tell).

    It has beeen 4 months! Any plans to update this mod (?) as I think it is an excellent idea!! I hate having to duck inside a Zed infested hell hole just to avoid the rain... does this mod work with build 23? (i.e. steam...)

    The game looks this dark to me. Isn't it this dark in your house at night IRL anyway? That's what they are going for, IMHO. Once you know your safehouse you can confidently stumble around in the dark knowing where your fridge, book case is etc the same way you can blindly navigate to the bathroom at night in your own house. Well this is how I look at the darkness in PZ anyway. Plus, what are you doing in the dark anyway, get some rest survivor! Read a skill book! Pat Spiffo! Don't explore in the dark....
