If none of the above works try using hamachi that fixed it for my friend.

Well if I'm not mistaken Hamachi is supposed to mimic a LAN server sort setup. With a LAN server you don't need to do things like forward ports, so if there's a problem when running without Hamachi, then I guess it would be an indicator of the router problem or more specifically something to do with port forwarding. Just a guess though. Idk when I have problems with port forwarding it usually just doesn't allow me to host not something like this. but either way its an early multiplayer version of an early access game so its fine it will eventually be fixed and its the only bug I have found. anyway hope it gets fixed soon for others since the multiplayer is amazing.

Im not sure why but using hamachi has fixed all of our problems so you might want to try that.

A few people have used hamachi to host servers I have been trying it while waiting for a reply but its not working for me unless i'm doing something wrong

My router has problems with port forwarding if I can host using hamachi I can try it.

This is happening to my friend too we have had 5 people on but it only happens to the host. EDIT logging in and out fixes it but since that quits you from the game it just takes too long as a viable fix for now.
