  1. Aww, nobody to blame here. But the server will not be making a return anytime soon. We've had a good run hosting for 6 months, however we're moving our server resources elsewhere. We will definitely be back as soon as MP receives the love it deserves (server side characters/inventories... we hope someday). Sorry to disappoint any of the newcomers to the server.
  2. Thanks for all the continued work devs, but this seems to be quite a bold choice. This will split your player base into claim-house-servers, and non-claim-house-servers. PVP enabled or disabled servers naturally cause this split already and this option will create another. Is more choice really the wisest choice? Especially considering the emphasis on realism the game has, which goes out the "indestructible" window with this one.
  3. We have introduced automated town resets. Every week scripts will clean up buildings and major loot locations in both Muldraugh and West Point. This will help clean up trash, loot dumps, wall griefers, broken windows, and destroyed loot containers. All bases built in the forests and outskirts of these towns will be saved. Zombies will also now completely reset and respawn everywhere, 2x a week. This will have the intended side effect of zombies spawning near bases and potentially attacking if they sense you.
  4. That's a new one, typically all of the hunger and thirst for each player is handled client side. So you may have bugged your character, try creating a second character and testing on that one.
  5. We have reset the map completely due to update 31.13: http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/14025-released-build-3113/ We will now return to resetting ONLY city loot sections until the next major update. Good luck survivors. RIP to some of the best and worst bases we screen capped this map:
  6. Thanks for the update!
  7. No problem, thanks for checking the server out.
  8. You're running the experimental IWBUMS version of PZ. To go back to stable, right click on Project Zomboid in Steam > Properties > Betas tab > And choose NONE under select beta dropdown. This will redownload the stable version of PZ for you.
  9. We have finished testing and implementing our own version of a soft-reset script. We will now reset ONLY major town and loot locations when the map requires it. If population continues to be steady, we'll set this up to run automatically at random times, with a server announcement for those in game (Loot rush event!). Major game updates may still require a full map reset (these could be a month or more apart). But until then, if you want to build a persistent base, head into the forest outside of town and build away with far less fear of losing progress
  10. Do a /invisible to turn off invis, speed and god mode.
  11. See here. We'll look into this, thanks for the report.
  12. Thanks for the report, we're looking into it.
  13. We have reloaded fresh zombie data, with quite a few extra hordes placed strategically around. Good luck survivors.
  14. If that just happened it was probably a connection issue. Our host detected a DDoS attack moments before you posted this Seems to be back to normal though.
  15. Ping is now much more stable but we're still seeing spikes when a lot of people are joining. This has been mentioned here for these guys as well: http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/13061-zeeks-haven-247-us-eastny-serverpvpcspawns24gb-ramweekly-soft-wipesmonthly-hard-wipes/?p=170783 All signs point to the map uploading/downloading from on our end. We're sticking with this theory until we have more info. Been a busy few days since 31 dropped, thanks to all who've checked out the server.
  16. Yep, rebooting now, been watching. Thanks for the report.
  17. Updated server to 31.10, outage there for a bit. We have settled on keeping only the Fire Spread Off feature enabled. When using the Fire Off feature, burning zombie corpses and accidental kitchen fires are no longer possible. With it disabled, it is still possible to burn base walls down, but the fire will not spread beyond the one tile that is lit. We think this is a fair compromise to realism while still helping the map survive all the arsonists out there.
  18. Thanks to all who joined the server over the last 6 months. We have officially closed our PZ server. It is possible we'll be back in the future as the game continues to evolve. Server details moved to spoiler for historical purposes:
  19. This ^. The soft-reset solution seems flawed because of this happening. In my opinion, crates that are crafted and placed should be emptied on reset (full item wipe) without being repopulated by loot. Or, for the short term, they should be the only structure that is wiped during a soft-reset (Prevents people building crate spots so they can get free industrial loot on each reset). The downside would be nobody can build any crate forts, or use them for walls, but I see that as a fair compromise since they'll generate loot.
  20. Agreed. I actually love the idea of supplies completely running out, and the entire server relying on farming sustainability, with potential crafting and item recycling that could be added in the future. But priority would be those zombies need to start respawning/migrating/whatever you want to call it. Hope devs feel the same.
  21. Mac will be sorted in next release and safeguards are in place to stop this happening again, promise. Also: Build 25 will officially be MP/SP combined. Hurrah! <3 Edited OP. Sneak us an ETA on 25 perhaps? We'll tell nobody.
