  1. Hey @lemmy101 - Thanks for the reply. This info is going to be super helpful. I will chime back in if needs be.
  2. Hey everyone, I am part of a group that is currently developing a 2D game engine called EnGo. We are currently implementing level streaming for large worlds into engo. Are there any special Considerations that need to be taken into account for Isometric maps and level streaming? Any advice, Tips, or whatever would be appreciated. Thanks for your time, HeadClot
  3. Hey everyone, I stumbled across this awesome game series a few years back called Hegemony Gold you can find it on steam. I will provide links. You can Find Hegemony Gold and Hegemony Rome on Steam. That said they are running a kickstarter campaign right now to fund their next title. It looks awesome! They did a live preview a few days back. Which you can find below. That said this is not StarCraft in the sense that it is a fast paced RTS. But more a thinking mans RTS where you have to capture / raze settlements, establish / maintain Supply Lines, Think about troop placement and play to your troops strengths. They even have mod support in the form of an editor (Which will be made available to modders) and a bunch of other stuff. With that said they have a large scale map of the Italian Peninsula. Set prior to the rise of Rome. You can find the Kickstarter here Have an awesome holiday season. - Headclot
  4. Still in development from what I can see, and although looks like it's progressing nicely, obviously taking a lot longer than was originally expected... Last update was December 7th: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/roam/roam/posts/1075956#comments Thanks for the information Glad to see that they are still making this game
  5. Has there been any progress on this? I backed this via Paypal and no word
  6. Hey everyone, I am not sure if this has been said before but what are the possibilities of open sourcing the Project Zomboid game engine for future game devs? I recently saw lemmy101 over on the Unreal Engine forums and found out that he is evaluating the Unreal engine 4 for "future options". Which is why I am curious about this. If you guys do leave your current engine behind - Please open source it if possible. Thank you, HeadClot If you want to hear my thoughts on the engine and why PZ can benefit from Unreal Click the spoiler below. Which I encourage if you are flipping out right now.
  7. Hey 3DFoin - 3 Quick Questions 1. Do you guys provide wireframes of your models? I intend to retexture these from scratch so mesh topology needs to be clean. 2. Is a .Max or .Maya Binary Included? These keep the topology of the model intact so that is why i am asking. 3. Are these PBR (Physically Based Rendering) ready? You can test these out with the Unreal engine 4, eventually Unity 5 and Cryengine. I would recommend Unreal 4 though due to ease of use. Thank you for your time, Headclot
  8. Hey - tucho, Thanks for dropping the prices on the characters expect a order soon
  9. I would have been more than happy to contribute to the campaign but the models are too expensive. Even just for one model it is 30.00 USD - I would if i were you lower the price for the whole collection down to around 100 USD for premium and 50 to 70 USD for non Premium. You might also want to consider posting this on kickstarter opposed to indiegogo - Kickstarter has a better platform and a better funding model. You will also get more exposure for your Kickstarter campaign. Also contact some press outlets (Polycount and CGhub) As for your models - They are perfect the models are just too expensive for the average joe. Just my thoughts. - HeadClot EDIT: Just thought I would say this - Some people just like to help so put a 1 dollar tier on the campaign. So yeah.
  10. Hey Everyone, Just discovered this small gem of a game that is currently trying to get funded via their own site using the Ignition deck plugin. Just thought I would do my part and help them out. About - The game is called Imagine Nations it is effectively an 3D Star bound meets dwarf fortress. Here is a video (See Below) and a demo of the game. You can find their official site here Note about the Demo - It is slow on AMD/ATI cards. You just need to disable some graphical features.
  11. Hey everyone, I am currently looking for a part time or full time programmer for a game that I am currently working on called "Project Hybrid Two". I would prefer one from the United States or the UK. I am looking at using the leadwerks game engine so skills in C++ and LUA will be required. If you are interested in my project check it out here. I am working on getting some 3D art up and out the moment so updates apart from words are scarce.
