  1. Like the GM in Ultima Online . At Freeshard servers they were used for initializing and lead through quests. Like that idea!
  2. How could I have been so short-sighted???!!! THE ANSWER!!! (searching the kitchen for aluminiumpaper) 1 - Missing basements: I like to see some subwaystations, sewers, cellars, bunkers... of course spare lighted. 2 - Z' sometimes bite you over a distance where you can not attack them or bites you through an open door which blocks your sight. 4 - Objects and Z throw shade when they are illuminated.

  4. My suggestion was: How can regenerate the body when it is under stress? If someone is awake, he is rarely stand around in the area and does nothing. But yes, if he doesn't do anything he should also regenerate. Maybe less than asleep. Yes, you'are right in this point. Did not I thought of it. Hm, sounds good, but i would have it a bit modified : tier 1. awake and moving around...0-20% healing powers / awake and standing around 40% Anyway, I'm looking forward to the new medical system . Perhaps these considerations are no longer necessary when it is implemented
  5. Hiho! Another suggestion either for Survival or Sandbox: Healing phase only during sleep Background: At the current, food acts like magical healing bottles. If you're recieved damage, eat something, recover your health and than continue your looting campaign (maybe killing just another amount of 20+ Z's on your way). Suggestion: If food won't have the healing ability (but should've positive effect on regeneration while sleeping if youre fed), you've the opportunity to decide wether to continue (with the handicap of being injured) or interrupt your looting campaign, return home to your savehouse and take a break for recover. While sleeping you regenerate your health (not fully recover, just an amount of hp), so it can take a longer time to be healed completly, compared of your suffered injuries. The condition of your hunger and thirst and the quality of your sleeping place should add a bonus to the regeneration. Suggestion II: To compensate for the lack of the healing rate of food, there should be added (rare or very rare) medical supplies like regeneration boosters or adrenaline syringes (too much playing JA2 ). Also an option "Rest until completly healed" should be added if going to bed. I'm looking forward to your opinions
  6. Or some pots to catch up the water . I like the idea and it would be wonderful if combined with the erosion-nature-takes-over-mod. In addition, I would imagine that with leaks in the roof (or destroyed windows) the temperature in the house can fall.
  7. I know that many things are possible in real life and people with the knowhow can make this stuff . But this is a survival game, not a medival rpgame, were you need a full platemail to kill a dragon. Parts are rare (possibly looted by someone else and taken to the "ass of the world"). I hope for a better loot-/itemsystem where you not found in every elementaryschool or kindergarten a 9mm pistol or shotgun (I know kids are evil ). Armor needs a disadvantage or Z's aren't a threat anymore, even if it's (unrealistic) poor condition.
  8. Yes, of course Kajin. I think in the current state these kind of armor is really overpowered. I could accept this if it comes with a good disadvantage like: weight, faster exhaustion, overheating, loudness, rarity for parts, etc. .
  9. Too much armor for me. If they add this kind of armor soon all people run around like this: Isn't simple "armor" like a leather jacket with condition loss not enough?

  11. Yep, the traitlist would be enormous (it's already huge) if only the half of my ideas would be added. My intention with this thread is a compendium of suggestions, i don't want to open several threads for each traits. If someone is interest in a suggestion or has a better idea, he/she feel free to open a new thread to discuss it in deep.   12. Hmm, my opinion of handcuffs in PZ is just for rp. So you don't need really an item just an poweremote like *binds his hands on his back with a rope* or something. On pvp servers the opposite player just knocks his finger against his head if you want to capture him

  14. Loot: I play with the unlucky trait and if sandbox with the extremly rare option but after a month (ingame) I found all necessary (rare)items to lay back and push the quite ball. So its an addition to the unlucky trait or if you don't want take the all negative benefits, just the loot. I think in the Survivalmode the loot rarity is only on rare. Learning: I'm just for the negative trait, but I offer a positive trait too . I think especially the crafting skills went up too fast. Toothless: Hehe, yeah but you don't have to take the trait. It's just for those who want the game a bit harder and food is a good option for that. Will add a faster and slower trait for weapons. Thanks for your opinion!
  15. So, after 211h playing PZ, I've come to realize that the game is at times too easy. I've been thinking a few things that could make the game more challenging... or not . I rather prefer the negatives, but I would like to offer also the opposite (positive) traits: Negative and positive traits: Miss out/ Sloppy (negative) - Reduce the chance of loot Overlook (positive) - Raise the chance of loot Learning resistance (negative) - Reduces the experience gained by half/ Skillbookmodifierer cut by half (example: SBM (3-1,5=1,5 rounded up to 2) Inquisitive (positive) Raise the experience gained by half/ Skillbookmodifierer added by half (example: SBM (3+1,5=4,5 rounded up to 5) Awkward (negative) - Lowers the durability of weapons or faster condition loss of weapons Improvise (positive) - Increases the durability of weapons or slower condition loss of weapons Gourmet (negative) - Normal and rotten food doubled the negative effects of boredom and unhappienes Residues eater (positive) - Removes the boredom and unhappiness effect from normal food Sluggish/ Unwieldy (negative) -Reduce the attackspeed Fast Impact (positive) - Increase the attackspeed Bad recovery (negative) - Slower health regeneration if fed Better recovery (positive) - Faster health regeneration if fed Only negative traits: Sensitive Teeth (negative) - Sweet, cold or hot food will raise painlevel/ hot food maybe damage (Kurruk) Toothless (negative) - Can only eat soft food (example: soup, icecream, peanutbutter)/ get damaged by eating hard food (example: chips, beef jerky, carrots). Vegans (negative) - Doubles or add unhappiness to animal products Carnivore (negative) - Doubles or add boredom to plant products These are some of my thoughts and I will add a few more.
  16. Ich vermute, dass das Spiel diese Reihenfolge aktuell nicht vorsieht, da es im englischen eben diese Reihenfolge hat. Da müsste dann anhand der Sprache DE die Reihenfolge der Strings geändert werden, schätz ich. Macht einer ne Mod? Naja, letztendlich würde auch "(kaputt) Küchenmesser" klappen . Also mit den Klammern. So spart man sich die Konjugation und werden im Inventar auch gleich untereinander gelistet.
  17. Why not make it more IRC based commands like /me, /w, /yell or something. I think that's more commonplace with chat systems and so is easily remembered by new comers. I would probably find myself forgetting simple keys like that otherwise. I don't know how the english keyboardlayout is, but for me it's easier to push ! ; : and space. But I'm already familiar with the UO controls. Maybe some IRC chatcommands are better .
  18. Hmm, call me a thief, but I think that Ultima Online (T2A classic client) had/has a really good chatsystem. The problem: The control is with keyboard in PZ (WASD, R, Q) So we need a key to activate local chat (p.e.:Enter/Return) plain text ! followed by the space bar = Shout (what you say is heard two screens away) ; followed by the space bar = Whisper (what you say is heard max 1 tile away.) : followed by space bar = Emote (with asterix -> *emotions*)

  20. How about a "Text-Makro" so you can edit the text, that will appear and bind them to the F1-10 keys.
  21. At the end it's up to you how you play this game, but I understand your point. I never play with the constructer-class and/or the agora-/claustrophobic-trait for myself, but some traits are really common. These are for me "light drinker", "brooding", "shorttempered", "cowardly", "good eater", "strong" or "stout" and "athletic". "lucky" and "unlucky" is for me just looteffective. You'll never known if the first scratch/ bite will be your end, even with construction worker and lucky-trait, I got zombification in the first time and with another class and unlucky-trait I survived up to 10 scratches. It's just "luck" in the game, no good or bad luck. So he warned also for bladedweapons like knives: the really bad blades are scissors, forks, spoons and the screwdriver, because you won't have the one-hitkill like the butter- and kitchenknife. But I prefer every knife if I have to choose either a low-durability one-hit killer or a slow, heavy and enduranceconsuming blunt weapon like the crowbar (often the blunt weapons are 2-handed and almost useless if equiped 1-handed). So, even if there is "THE UBER BUILD!!111", you have to find your way to play this game and your own style.
  22. I don't know how the settings of a mpserver looks like, but the more player joins a server, the zombierate should set higher and the loot more rarer. This could counteract the world looks abandon after 4 hours.

  24. You can craft baseball bats with nails and planks with nails Hmm, new weapons. There should be a thread existing with some suggestions to new weapons. Anyway: Bottles made of glas (with beer in it), so you can drink them empty, crush them over zombieheads and then stab them in their throat .
