  1. v1.0.0 -Drayton has been integrated in the vanilla map (you can find it here: http://pzmap.crash-override.net/#0.3295936981331817,0.09350631572324089,16 ) -Minor bug fixes -New thumbnail -Reworked zombie spawn map -Added a tutorial on how to install the map, it's located in the .rar file Click the download link on the first post to download it!
  2. You didn't install New Denver correctly then. Because the area that New Denver overlaps is filled with trees, so yeah.
  3. You just have to unpack the .rar file and put the "Rebuild" folder into media/maps. Then you open the game and play it.
  4. No, it's fine. It's just that it's the first weapon you get in Dead Island.
  5. Watch out, Dead Island player here.
  6. There's a flashlight that recharges on body heat by the way.
  7. Rebuild Drayton After over a year, the map is done. I began working on it late February 2014 and worked a few months on it. I returned and started working on it again in January 2015 and now I finished it. Map Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/h0b4s71dg6f2owm/Rebuild102.rar Also available on Steam Workshop (I recommend downloading it from there): http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=500222958 Credits: Jela331 - Well, for obvious reasons Suomiboi - Who gifted me PZ during the map development, who also taught me stuff about map making Thuztor - Taught me some stuff back in 2014 about the map tools Maklane - For his awesome school building First Look of the map(by Chris aka ManBearPig): Changelog: I hope you enjoy the map, and it would be great if you could report any bugs on this thread. Thanks.
  8. Mine was on an RP Server by BeastWoodGaming, it's still up and running and I play on it. I started off in Muldraugh, a guy named Sam told me directions to their camp via the radio. So, I arrived, I got accepted and I my role in the group was a Scavenger/Forager. It was good, but then there was a food crisis. Everyone ate worms and pepper in order to survive, so we were thinking of moving. We got attacked by hordes multiple times, but that day, everything changed. A giant horde started bursting in our camp, we collected what we could and ran out. I didn't want to run away so quickly so I kept scavenging what I could from it. There was around 50-75 zombies inside, fighting them wasn't an option. I gathered stuff from my room and opened a few exits with a sledgehammer, so I could escape. Everything was falling apart, but there was no time to look back. Sam told us over the radio to meet up at the North Farm, most of our group members were there. I chose to run back to the camp to gather rest of the stuff, figuring that at least half of the zombies left the camp. I saw Aleks, a member of our camp who's a surgeon, he was gathering stuff too. The zombies outnumbered us, by a lot. So, I retreated back after I gathered some stuff, but Aleks was nowhere to be found. A guy named Robert went back to the camp to save him, we heard him calling for help on the radio, but we didn't hear his voice anymore. We thought of the worst obviously. We regrouped back again at the North Farm and I had to leave. The rest went to the Mall and barricaded it. The trip didn't go so well, resulting in 2 casualties. I logged on the next day, they left no food for me, so I only grabbed what they left(tools, material etc.) and set foot to West Point. I was clueless where the next camp is, I was going blindly to West Point awaiting for directions. Robert told me via the radio that they're holed up in a store at the mall. I ran and ran. I had a nasty cold, I was drenched and I was exhausted. I was barely walking, but I made it safely. I brought a lot of food and stuff I found on my trip. The mall was our only hope since Muldraugh was parched and West Point overrun. Now, we're living in the mall. It started getting cold, very cold. It was freezing, even indoors. I broke my foot while venturing the mall from a bugged escalator(thanks Mash) and limped back to the camp and asked with my dying breath "Help me...", a guy named Cleetus(a good friend of mine ingame) splinted me and I survived luckily. It started snowing, it got even colder and food was running low. That's where it ends(I'm still playing on it so this is pretty much what happened so far). We were usually a camp who took people in gladly, but now with the current situation, another member is an another mouth to feed. 9. The map's finished, I just have to work on the zombie spawn map a little more and fix some minor bugs I found while testing. Map is coming out tommorow.
  10. I can totally use this to make Rule 34 of Project Zomboid.
  11. I didn't understand what you said at all, but TVs are going to be released in Build 32 I believe.
  12. Last mondoid before the final release. [WARNING: ANCIENT SCREENSHOTS] I found an ancient screenshot of the map, so I decided to compare it with the current map: Back when the map only consisted of 4 cells, I was experimenting with the metro tracks and this was the result: They aren't in the map right now and probably never will be, because of the lack of sprites for the trains and such. I only wanted to add them because I expected Drayton to be a huge city. Now, that the history lesson is over, let's talk about the map and the future of it. First of, Drayton is nearing completion, having only a few buildings left to be made. Then I've got to make the zombies spawn map and try adding object zones in the map(for fishing and foraging). Now, when I finish Drayton, I plan to work around with zones and to work on the surroundings a bit more. Then after I do what I have to, I'll start to work on Mashington, a city originated from the name Washington, but it's called Mashington because it's named after a nickname of a PZ Developer. It's going to be at least 3 times bigger than Drayton itself. Anyways, I'd like to point out for those who still don't know, the map is going to be released in 7 days. I will create a new thread, but I'll keep using this one for mondoids when I start working on Mashington, but don't expect Mashington too soon. Thank you for those who read my mondoids and I hope you enjoy the map as much as I did while I was testing it. Bye!
  13. Actually you will be able to do that once NPCs are out.
  14. Generators will be added in Build 32, just to let you know.
  15. Elevator shafts are already possible to do, did a few myself, but making them functional that's a whole other story. I don't know how they would work with the current game engine.
  16. Yeah, they gotta work that out. I can't see a sandbag barricade that's right in front of me.
  17. Can you make it so empty shells or bullets drop on the ground once you fire?
  18. Holy mother of God. ...Still waiting for Blindcoder to become a PZ Dev...
  19. I absolutely loved the first game, it was a fresh take on horror game franchise. The sequels would've been a lot better if he didn't rush them, I mean they're not entirely bad, but they could've been a lot better if he spend more time on them.
  20. You can edit the hair texture, but it will only affect the client-side, other people will see you with normal hair in MP.
  21. There are cherries ingame, just to let you know. Nvm, I read the text now.
