  1. Awesome set up, this game is going to need a bulldozer by the looks of it. Hope we get cleaning and body burning soon in all seriousness though.
  2. Just wrangling a herd from my safe house. Wanted to capture a house up the street at the end of a cul de sac, everything left of my house down to the tavern has been looted, but everything upwards of there has not, ie police station and minimall. After tactfully taking the whole block out with just a bat I whittle them down to a measly 4 just before nightfall and I never play in the dark. I'm literally sitting on boxes of ammo at this point and the population has been otherwise low so I figure it's a good opportunity (in the morning) to make light work of the 4 and get a little exp. Quite frankly I was just looking for an excuse to use my gun finally. Cue the horde. Not the biggest horde I've seen but if you see all the carcasses already strewn about you'll get the idea that it used to be. Killed 48, looted 20 ammo which I certainly used, ran home and for the shotty and had just over 100 kills for the day. Honestly I didn't know the horde was right at that fence in the video, for the two previous days they didn't follow me down to my home. Two days of vigorous rampage before I decided to just head the whole group down a street I'd already cleared and I've since captured my new house... Well, the one next to it any how, not a big fan of houses half-splashed in blood. Edit: I don't always play with music on either but it worked out pretty well for this vid
  3. I would imagine AI is going to be one of the harder aspects of the game to implement. It's a really ambitious approach that could seat PZ all in a league of its own and they'll probably have an interesting time getting it to run with a perfect balance and weeding out any unexpected or inappropriate behavior by the AI director. I don't think I'd mind if some features are fleshed out, or new items, or even portions of map come out before AI as long as the NPCs really bring an extra level of depth to the game, and more consideration to how you play it.
  4. Props to the OP. 16 days in and shifting into the farming life, this saved me a lot of trial and error. I don't exactly want to know every facet of the game and learning is part of the fun, but as the game is still in Alpha, having a loose grasp on farming was important to me. I have really excessive OCD and would likely drink the water from every toilet in a 5 mile radius before resorting to the cups, bowls and pots that I'd filled with water. Same goes to food, I would be raiding fridges for miles until I got the grasp of farming but I would've never guessed that strawberries and tomatoes are just short of worthless to grow in game, or that I'd need x amount of seeds or what the turnaround on these crops are and how disease etc etc affects them. I figure I'd likely figure this all out over time anyways and draw the same conclusions, we have nearly identical play styles, so I just took a shortcut. Thanks for your diligence, homie.
