  1. I know it could be hard but would it be possible to add falling to the game for example. Pushing a zombie out of a window or down the stairs.. Would love to pick up a corpse and dispose of it out of the window of my safe house before boarding it up.
  2. Exactly what it says on the tin. Axe + zombie = limb removed. Be cool to see not just blood praying but dopping a limb or even able to cut a leg off so if it takes 2/3/4 strikes to remove parts as they keep coming. Leaving a trail of blood.
  3. I feel its more about the individual person. Some people can handle situations of a more energetic nature. Some cant. But having a rpg system means a progressive number of features and i hope this means this trait too. But i feel the entire rpg side will be totally overhauled later down the line
  4. Reading a book. Killing a zombie. Chopping a tree. All good for removing the being bored problem. How about instead of writing our story in the game using pens and paper maybes we can draw stuff and even paint. Then place it on the wall in game. Same as upload a pic and it will convert to a photo for a wall.. Just a random thought...
  5. A detailed weather system gets my vote
  6. Manila. Turkey. Spain. America. England. Bulgaria. Germany. Well i been to all and find this mainly but we are in america and from what i saw unless its one of them mesh covers.for a door or security grill.covering a door then i find they do mostly
  7. Exterior doors come across as far stronger than internal doors. So a zombies could be bashing a door for a VERY long time before they get in. Even more so if the door opens outwards, but in RL most doors open inwards unless its a door desined to open outwards.
  8. I noticed all doors open outwards around the exterior of buildings. I can understand emergency doors as thats the design but if a house door opened outwards in real life. If i was bashing a door that worked outwardsto get in then i would have to break through the actual door or break the frame its on.. So whats the chances of adjusing the doorsin this manner?. Also will locks be brought in so i can fit locks and stuff?
  9. Make everything available with pros and cons then he play can decide to use or not. Simplesssss...
  10. How about dvds for the bored problem i see tvs in the game and if electricity is still going or you have a generator. Then why not a tv? I would think it would be a good way to attract zombies to a house so you can get to another house.
  11. I would settle for a ladder
  12. I would see a shower or bath as a moral type of booster. Spending days even weeks out surviving without a wash then a shower for the first time is very relaxing and emotionaly recharging. So moral boosting is good.
  13. I was cycling home from work today and could smell pee soup coming from one of the houses i was passing. I could not id the exact house but knew it came from one of a cluster. Would it be possible if zombies got the smell and became curious?
  14. Yes already discussed. Any form of armour will need a benefite but also a drawback. Protection vs stamina maybies and heat. So cold weather is a benefit for heavy padded stuff. Now is it my understanding that the place the game is based on is a logging type of town / region. If this is true then i would think hunting wild game is a part of it too due to location. Now if that is the case then army surplus and hunting businesses would be about. So access to ex military stuff is possible as well as survival and extreme sports safety personal protective equipment. Hey i live in england and about half an hours drive from 4+ army surplus stores. And ex forces sell off a lot of their gear. I cycle to work so have wets, tactical gloves, tactical goggles, ski mask, knee pads and more for my travels. Add that with a padded coat for a motorbike i feel protected. And yes i have been hit by a car and it worked kept me well padded. So its all do able
  15. I read them and save then for later as they help.with boredom too. But we need tv dvds so we can watch tv too. With a set of head phones its do able. Also if we turn in a tv in a house with volume loud it would attract zombies. Long after the house alarm sets off.
  16. Down my place i have a army surplus store and the store has all kinds of stuff. Body armour. Survival gear. Ration packs. Gas masks. Climbing gear. Thermal and shields for riots.
  17. Just so happens, directed to the thread creator. That my partner asked me why the house alarms across the street kept going off and i said its the game not he RL. Also yesterday we were drivig about and we were clocking up good anti zombie location around town. A library is bad. A old victorian house has solid walls. But a modern tower block complete with heavy duty metal doors with mag lock is perfect. Good view points solid walls limited access points. Easy for ropes from first floor. Plenty of rooms. And a roof for growing crops and catching rain. And a lift for the transfer of soil before the electricity goes out. A snipers dream
  18. An option to fill the bath with water would be good, and the same drinking from the toilet system after the waters gone. Having the odd water tower about the town would be something to add also. But get a hell of a lot of wood. Find a location close to a tree line to build your base... With easy reach to food sources tools and other important items you feel you need... Always remember nothing is 100% ideal a horde will find a way in time to brake in so you do what you can. Everybody has different ideas of whats ideal etc etc. Remember a fridge has a limited amount of space. Same as the floor and cupboards. My location has 4 fridges and a lot of storage space and its one level up with only 2 possible entrance points. Ones barracaded and if a must can trash the stairs with a sledge if needed. But the fire exit stairs make an ideal lookout and entrannce point. That leads to the carpark and a wide alley i can both secure. With access to grass for planting once its walled off. Ideal for working outside at night. West point is a great place to settle. My garden is nearly turned over, a very tiring job that. The fence is set up. Just a matter of second defences. and a look out tower. And 10 rain barrels to build. I plan on a raised platform around the defence walls with access from the main building via a window.
  19. Do what eve-online does.. Peeps would log out if the ship was about to get destroyed and the log off would auto warp them away to safety. So eve decided to make a timed delay between log off and warping. Same for this game a timed delay and disappearing.
  20. An axe is an awesome too. Also if u get a sledge then pop the gunshop. With it
  21. A farm between both towns has a fresh well. Location i cant remember If you want fluids then look at cabbage. Oranges fruit. Raid the supermarkets. Soda is good. Plenty of bottles. Get to your old home. Thats if its clear and secure it. Now if water is off then water barrels is a must. If you find you cant carry on a map then start again but remember your lessons and prepare accordingly. Try and remember locations their is a online interactive map about.. http://pzwiki.net/wiki/Crafting#RC_2.9 http://pzmap.crash-override.net/ The stats and traits you take does have a reflect on the game. Being strong is a MUST. For carrying. Bag on back. On in secondary and weapon in primary is my ideal if your strong u gain better carrying in your personal slot.
  22. Think fallout... Combine two lower condition weapons of the same type to make a better condition. Hope they do this with clothing and other items.
  23. Boxes of nails. Hammer. Saw. Door hinges and knobs. Axe. Use as on trees collect logs. Loads of them transport them home. (heavy) Cut logs make planks using saw. Stock pile them. Find a building and use axe on doors. Collect hinges and knobs. Use this lot to build walls and barricade windows useless doors u dont use. If your upstairs dont barricade the windows this level. Build crates for extra storage. Build wall around property. Secure your home. If you have space build barricades inside too. Ie warehouse etc. For me i taken the appartments above the shops in west point and clocked through the internal walls and destroyed furniture to open a large place. Collected sheets for windows for lighting at night. And have 2 upper windows for sheet rope exit points. Outside a barricade around your main entrance complete with a door. Then rain barrels needing binbags. But the better barrels are needing higher carpentry. I would visiting a school or bookshop for books. For example carpentry. If you manage to get to the warehouse even gun shop then get the shot gun and shells. Saw the barrel off so its lighter to carry and stash them near so you can get at it and escape with it and shells because once they find you blasting your way out may be needed. Try your hand at cooking making soup its easy. And the soup lasts longer than refridged food. Stash cans and tins of food for later. Look out for gardening tools and large rucksacks, use a spare rucksack with an emergancy escape kit in it. First aid items a tent kit. Canned food with opener and water plus valuable other items you might need so if you wake up and find your home is burning or a zombie is nibbling on a toe then you can grab the bag and shot gun and escape. Dont leave your oven on Tip. Dont use sledgehammer as a weapon but use it to knock down a wall to get in to the gun shop at west point. The highschool north of west point has a library inside. Keep a towel handy. Digging the garden makes you tired very fast. Eat a large meal before bed as if your very very very very tired then you might starve to death in your sleep. A bug i think as it takes 4 weeks to actually starve on average. Its lack of water that would hit first in real life. I hope they fix that at some point. Also remember chopping wood. Sawing hammering etc makes noise. Noise = zombie attention. So clear zombies around the area of work.
  24. After looking at the map its mostly trees. Will the map be getting bigger in regards to buildings locations etc? I would like to see a giant shopping mall multi leveled complete with escalators and lifts. A prison complex. Airport. Harbour. Full industrial complex. Power station. Water towers. Reservist military base.
