Thanks dude, Exactly what i was looking for, Can't believe i didn't find it myself though, Swear i looked everywhere.
 
That Lua code makes enough sense from working with the sprites, I should be able to make them work once i get the chance.
 
I'll have a play with it and update when i get it working

I'm not familiar with the Lua side of PZ, however after a quick scan of the files I found the following code which looks like it would do what you desire.
 
ProjectZomboid\media\lua\server\Items\WorldFiller.lua

I'll use this line as an example: overlayMap["location_shop_generic_01_103"] = {gunstore = {"weapons_01_7", "weapons_01_15"}, other = {"books&misc_01_95", "books&misc_01_103"}}
 
"location_shop_generic_01_103" would be the container/shelves/etc.
"gunstore" is the room definition.
"weapons_01_7", "weapons_01_15" represent the North and West facing tiles with 'stuff' on them (you need both, the engine will pick which one it needs).
 
Edit: Optionally you can have multiple room definitions, as per: other = {"books&misc_01_95", "books&misc_01_103"}

Double post but i had to show off Legolands amazing work.
 
He has created a huge number of buildings which i will now work into the map, This is just showing them all off.
 

 
While some have a similar exterior they are all furnished and colored differently so exploring is always fun and every house is unique in some way.
 

 
I also really like the shops he made so here's a closeup . Furniture, appliance and sewing stores, Gun store and an internet cafe.

At this stage the entire map in the overview is planned to be city but we were considering in making a lot of rural farmland to the south if you want extend my original raw map i can send it to you so you can line it up. But don't draw on the areas already layed out as i edit it as we need.
 
Could really be any size as long as its not wider than 12

Needed a break from endless suburbs buildings, I started to get an idea on how the beachfront area will play out though it probably wont appear in the first release. Brighter Pavements, Large apartments / Hotels further on into the City along the beach etc etc.
 
Started a modern/expensive looking apartment
 
Anyone wanna make me some palm tree tiles ?

I will try that out tomorrow if i get a chance

I have to agree with all of this, while I like the idea of disease and rotting corpses I actually haven't even bothered playing iwbums yet because it looks kinda barebones and simple compared to other features that have been aded. Of course it's only early testing but I would like it improved.
 
A triple + for bodybags, I could really use the sprite for my map and saves me making one xD

Hey Guys
 
I' trying to make it so when my containers are looted they change to the empty state the same way that happens when you loot shelves/weapon cabinets.
 
Here is a picture explaining what i want to do, I have looked in the tile definitions and not found any way to change it the same way windows do when broken, so i'm assuming it might be in a .lua file
 
Anyone have an idea?
