This map made me start creating again, please don't abandon it like many others.

Just finished my first building in a while, A police station. Not sure if the map has one yet.

    DL link in my thread.
Also updated the large hotel room definitions, you might want to DL the new one if you haven't already corrected them.

Any buildings in specific you need, Really looking forward to this map and would like to contribute some more

So as it is i've noticed its rather hard to tell what your aiming at from a long distance and while on top of structures it seems impossible to shoot down.

Years ago i was a big fan of the Commandos games, They had a top down isometric view and when you would use the sniper rifle you would get a small scope appear on your cursor which was very simple and easy to use.

You can see it in the screenshot

I'm sure the way bullets travel is alot different in both games but I thought something similar would work well in PZ with weapons that have a scope attached and just thought id suggest it.

I haven't noticed anyone else suggest this but i didn't delve far into the forum!

What i was thinking was having a flashlight attachment for guns that take two hands to carry, this would enable the user to see better at night time and would be a huge help on multiplayer! (say you're going out at night with a group or alone whatever your option to scavenge, get revenge on others or whatever it is you funky ass people do! you're going to need to see at night and isn't unrealistic in any manner)

It could aid in accuracy in dark areas e.g houses once the power has gone out, going out at night, but would make you more visible to zombies as they would be attracted to the light.

I don't think it would be unrealistic to find these flashlights in a gun shop, shooting range or police station...but i wouldn't really know as i'm a UK player myself and we rarely see guns, but i just think it wouldn't be very farfetched at all!

    Anyway have fun surviving!

I was having a play with the loot "zoning" the other day, couldn't seem to get it to work. The suburbsdistributions.txt is the file that has all the containers. From what i can tell, (and what the wiki says) you create a new object in tilezed (press O) and zone out the area, so you would zone out an area in a house for the kitchen to contain all the "kitchen food" items, then you can right click it and set the properties, here is where you choose the text from suburbsdistributions.txt for the container type / propertys etc.

Thats as far as i got, the containers i zoned didnt seem change at all. Hopefully that points you in the right direction, a dev may shine some light on where to go from here
