Turning off "enable steam in game community" seems to also do the trick. -

This happens almost immediately for me every few seconds. Disabling Steam in game community totally fixed it though. (It was also crashing after the "early access" disclaimer on repeated loads (worked originally). Mac Steam Version 1440 x 900 on rMBP 2.7Ghz i7 Nvidea GT650M OS 10.9
