  1. In the "items_weapons.txt" the "GardenHoe" has two "Weight" entries. One states 1.5, the other states 2.0. I'm not sure which one is correct, but for the sake of clarity maybe it is better to remove the wrong one.
  2. Well, maybe right now we have only trapping as a meat source, but AFAIK, domestic animals are on their way. I doubt a butchered cow can be considered hunted down. Who knows, though; maybe meat from domestic animals will be called differently.
  3. • Version: 41.77.9 • Singleplayer • Mods: • Old or new save? : Both old and new save are affected • Reproduction steps: 1. This is a graphical issue. Any mannequin placed under a player-built roof tile will lose its 3d model shading and will look bland and featureless (lacking normals?). 2. Indoors shading of existing houses works without issues (maybe because in-house shading of existing buildings is processed differently).
  4. • Version: 41.77.9 • Singleplayer • Mods: • Old or new save? : Both old and new save are affected • Reproduction steps: 1. On the second floor (first, if you count the first one as "ground floor") and above a window can not be placed into a window frame on the southern or eastern wall (maybe because the window has only northern or western wall and southern and eastern placements are considered to be in fact the eastern and northern placements of the adjacent tile).
  5. • Version: 41.77.9 • Singleplayer • Mods: • Old or new save? : Both old and new save are affected • Reproduction steps: 1. This is rather minor, but since we are nearing the "definitive patch"… 2. This is a naming error: visible name of the dangly emerald earrings is "sapphire".
  6. • Version: 41.77.9 • Singleplayer • Mods: • Old or new save? : Both old and new save are affected • Reproduction steps: 1. It seems some translation lines were mixed. Any meat food item is called "game". 2. The resulting salad/soup in the will be called something like "Cabbage and Game Salad".
  7. • Version: 41.77.9 • Singleplayer • Mods: • Old or new save? : Both old and new save are affected • Reproduction steps: 1. Just what it says on the tin
  8. • Version: 41.77.9 • Singleplayer • Mods: • Old or new save? : Both old and new save are affected • Reproduction steps: 1. Find any clothing item via foraging 2. The item will be randomly damaged (even items that can not be damaged normally, like "Food server hat"), bloody and dirty 3. The item can not be repaired or washed. It is completely "set in stone".

    41.77 Released

After installing the 41.77.7 update from GOG (Linux) I'm immediately "greeted" by an Error in the main screen. The console output is as follows: ./projectzomboid.sh 64-bit java detected ERROR: General , 1666020406126> ExceptionLogger.logException> Exception thrown java.lang.RuntimeException: Object tried to call nil in !!CustomOptions.lua at KahluaUtil.fail line:82. 10. I believe this is the same issue with zombies getting up to their feet immediately and biting just after falling over an open grave. Seems some zombie falling animations do not have incapacitated frames assigned to them.
  11. A visual glitch involving transparency around waist area. 41.77 GOG Linux Singleplayer Mods: ModOptions, RepairRoad, RepairWallCrack, Body Remodel Fingers, xp_drops_oldschool_runescape Old save Reproduction steps: Equip Miniskirt and Leather Jacket (short one) at the same time
  12. Well, field of view is crucial for foraging. Unlike a hunter (who needs good frontal sight to properly measure distance to a prey before leap/throw), a forager needs good peripheral vision to spot good berries/mushrooms on the edge of vision. These two types of vision are called hunter/forager vision, or sometimes male/female vision because of thought that these types of vision are bound to men/women respectively, hence the notion that men are better drivers because they can focus on the road ahead instead of being distracted by side views, even though this is incorrect (a man can have a "forager view" and a woman can fave a "hunter view"). Naturally, this is more about how our brain works and processes/prioritizes incoming visual information. The gist of this is the lack of good peripheral vision will hinder one's foraging ability somewhat, glasses or not. I'm seriously more puzzled why "Short-sighted" don't hinder character's ability to shoot, because I for one can not hit a thing even at 10 meters away without glasses (will still miss a lot with them because I'm wearing weaker lenses than required for full correction in order not to strain my eyes).
  13. Well, while I understand that you are describing this as a bug from a "mechanical" point of view, but… As a (very) shortsighted person myself, I can officially proclaim: that frame (holding the lenses) is pretty much there, obstructing my field of vision (mostly peripheral), so that -2.50 is explainable. I think a character wearing glasses shall suffer from a piece of metal on her/his nose no matter the sight (and no, no glasses can make you see as good as a healthy person -- that peripheral field of view is gonna be garbage). Please note, however, that the -2.50 from eyewear is in %, so it is in fact -2.5% from nominal, an almost unnoticeable loss.

    41.77 Released

I can confirm, my "project_zomboid_41_77_hotfix_59328.sh" package (MD5 sum 3bd9a4e48a1a1ca244c82162084966b4 ) obtained from GOG also requires Steam and refuses to launch by default. It launches with "-nosteam" key added to launch command, like this: $ ./projectzomboid.sh -nosteam Seems somehow a Steam version was shipped to GOG (and GOG being GOG could not care less to check whether a game sold by them actually works ).
  15. Sounds like a routing issue in your house. If you both are on the same ethernet network there should be no need for Steam. Check your firewall settings (ensure both UDP and TCP connections are allowed to your 16261 and 16162-16172 ports). Try connecting PCs directly through cross-cable (without any routers). Also, it may be better to run dedicated server instead.
