Well I don't know how long it will take what with school, but I want to do a map of Lawrence, Kansas, home of the University of Kansas. I plan on using good old Google Earth to get the map out, and depending on how much time I have and how big I can make the map, maybe I can make it reach all the way out to the town of Perry and Perry Lake.
  2. Hello all! I am completely new to modding (so apologies for noobishness), and tried searching around for this but did not find the information I am looking for (likely because I don't really know the right terms for what I'm looking for). I want to start learning how to mod by something I figured would be easy, editing the player character texture to put in things like tatoos and scars/whatever at will. I've found the picture files which are clearly where the information is, but aside from the face and underwear I'm having a difficult time figuring out where everything goes. Is there a program in which I can project the texture onto a 3D model for editing purposes, or something like a map overlay for it? or some other method of making sense of the picture file? Attached is an example of what i'm talking of, lifted directly from the vanilla game files.
  3. If we got LUA modding abilities, maybe a Garry Mod style way of editing will be made so players can program their own gamemodes? That would be great, a mix of the map editor and creative mode. I agree that would be fun. And I suppose I should have been more clear the idea wasn't so much for a 'storyline' sort of playing as it was just a fun thing to do with friends. But a method by which you and your buddies could create game modes just for the lulz would be awesome!
  4. I was playing PZ for the first time today, and whilst I was wondering around aimlessly from house to house I was thinking about how fun a multiplayer would be (I'm always a fan of multiplayer zombie games, of the opinion that the zombie genre is practically made for teamwork), and thought it would be interesting to have a multiplayer game mode in which the objective is to eliminate all 3566-ish zombies that would be roaming around Muldraugh, or something to that effect. I'm not sure how the zombie populations are distributed by the code, so don't know how feasible it would be (also 3,500 kills would take a while for a handful of people), but wanted to know how other people felt on the idea, or any extrapolations of the concept.
