  1. Is there any form of indoor heat source that won't set the house alight?
  2. I have found a lot, mostly i play sandbox with extrem rare settings and i´m able to find them a lot. But i guess it´s random so maybe you just had no luck. i´m cureently searching tent pegs can´t find them hehe I found em in the first week difficulty... but not survival.
  3. I don't know if this is the case. Survival hardcore... I cannot seem to find a masonry book or an anarchist book. I figure the anarchist would be a bit rare... but the masonry book... after spending a crapton of time looking for the masonry book... I had killed around 2000 zombies (shotgun + a lot of ammo I had found) had a fairly large custom base built sans roof. Well... After searching maybe my 100th house... and TWO book stores... I could not find it. Then I got scratched... and this scratch wasn't going away.... so I said forget it. I Installed the cheat mod... and started teleporting/ghosting around... and to my surprise... After checking the 3rd and final library... and probably close to 100 more bookshelves in houses. I never found the masonry book. Is it spawning correctly?
  4. After the powers out, theres only one way to preserve food right now, and thats canning/jarring however the simpler method in real life would be just drying or smoking which could be easily implimented by having a 'craftable' stove that requires heat and instead of rotting adding the line (i suck at coding so I'm just stating it) and "if in smoker, replace item with instead of 'rotten' item, to dried item' That way it will require time to dry and in the future, coded to require a heat source to function as a temporary solution to food storage. As for lighting, finding some kind of electronic part that can be used to craft solar lights. I wouldn't mind lighting in my safe house but if I forget to turn it off, the limited batteries available are gone. Just tossin this out there.
  5. I could easily see the people who bought early being tired of constantly restarting every couple of builds.
