MANY people playing their new games from the Steam sale right now, so you get off lucky today the ONLY way to kill the zombies is to destroy the brain. so poisonous air won't matter. neither would making them drink acid. or having a snake like the Costa Rican Fer de Lance (Bothrops Asper) with Necrotic venom bite them ( the venom destroys flesh, it's gruesome as hell) or a Black Mamba with it's highly deadly venom. go ahead and decapitate one, the body won't do anything, but the head would still be active and bite you if you got close enough. again, as long as the brain stays active, the zombie will continue to look for things to bite and eat

slicing a zombie throat from behind will do ONE thing, put you in its reach to scratch or bite you. that's it. they don't need the major veins intact, no heart is beating to pump blood throughout the body we kill the zombies by destroying the brain

it is indeed possible to overfish an area. best thing to do now is move to an area that you have not over fished. in time the old spot will recover and have fish again
