What wildlife can we eventually expect to encounter in the forests? Will we ever see birds and will they be huntable?

Let them in. Run inside the house like crazy and run out the door you've opened. Find another house, stock up and get some weapons and reclaim your safehouse.

By the way, i can't run because of Agony, and there aren't 5 or 6 zombies.. There are probably over 30. Well, Little Bob Morris will have to die i guess, or just wait inside for the metagame to drag them out.

So, again with the cabbage, must of got a rotten one, and i was in total agony and sickness, i thought : ''Hey, didn't i have some painkillers in the bathroom?'' I go check, and the answer was no. I got through all the safehouse to get some medicine, but nothing. Then i decided to go hunt some medicine, at the Cortman medical, was just a street away. After fighting off some zeds and ''stealthily'' got in the building, took all i could. Filled my 2 bags and whole inventory with pills and bandages and rushed home.

I found that a horde of zombies was following me. At the point i was almost dead, i reached my house, and kept all the medicine in the bathroom. Then... BUMP.... BUMP.. BUMP...
The zeds knew where my safehouse was, and they are banging on the door! I close all sheet curtains and lock try to barricade the door, when i remember... A forumer told me to only bring what i need. To the loot, i didn't bring nails, but i brought 3 planks accidentally. ''Damn it! Why didn't i bring the nails!'' I thought. I went to check the crate, but i had moved all the tools to the shed, that was outside the house. I locked myself in the bedroom, still in agony, and sickness growing. Also with alot of excertion, and no vitamins. Painkillers do nothing to the pain and i have heavy load, so.. Here i am! What should i do in this hard situation? Little Bob Morris is hanging in the bedroom , maybe dying because i got attacked too close to some zombies, and didnt have time to check health. No windows in the bedroom, all of them are probably being tried to break by the zombies.... I am between a rock and a hard place, and 95% of the outcome of this is death. I don't want to die in my bedroom! I wanted to die drunk and killing zombies with a shotgun at night. Do you think there is a way little Bob Morris may be spared?

Yeah they're really taking this too far, the thing is the internet is not anonymous. It feels that way but really it isn't. I literally shudder to think of what the Great Googlies could do if they want *All hail Google!* Ahem, if only we weren't so lazy or if we didn't love the convenience then we would stand a chance but with the way things are going it really could be very bad. One of the things that I feel is especially bad is that everyone these days can just sign in to most things using FB. If you start doing this then yeah, the government and whoever wants and can pay money to skilled hackers could literally know almost everything about you. Where you've been, who you've been there with, your favorite online pizza/food/whatever order, what colour underwear you have on, etc. I'm not big on conspiracies, especially bizarre ones, but all this spying really isn't a conspiracy. It's real it's happening and the consequences could be huge and very far reaching. Scary stuff.
 
Another thing to remember is that once something is on the internet it might as well be there forever.

No, the problem is that they can tell who you talk to, when, and about what. Like, if you have an affair, they know it. If you've a relationship, they know it. And all it takes is a little slip into a dictatorship government for that to become used for evil.

But . . . but . . . then they'll know who their dissenters are!

The towns aren't 1:1 copies either, nor is the world in general. The area also isn't called Knox County in real life. Basically PZ isn't meant to be 1:1 copy of the real world, the devs use artistic license where they deem it useful.

Maybe, but if those were the total PZ populations that turned into zombies you could kill them all within two game weeks, I reckon...

This is a fantastic set of suggestions. Anybody living off the land for an extended period of time is going to have some method of preserving their food, and it could be a natural extension of the cooking skill. Want to smoke your meats? Cooking level 2 with a fire. Making a strawberry preserve? Cooking level 4, with a jar, a full kettle, a heat source, and some sugar.
 
Some of these ideas (in theory) shouldn't be too hard to mod in to the game, at least not if I'm reading too much in to things. A lot of them could just come down to advanced recipes.
