    Experimenting with advanced rigging techniques today.
     
    Also thinking about not exporting bones that are not set to deform the mesh. Good way to control efficient bone exports.

    84% out of the 200+ pack done. Here's a ground floor parking lot for a small apartment building. Easy way to park your car and close it off once garage functions come to the game.

    So, first off is a four home condo, each home is the size of a one bedroom apartment. I'm not sure exactly what environment it belongs to.

    Second Floor, First Floor is identical except for the house decor, each room is designed differently like it's owned by an individual person.

    Hi there, 
    Because I'm feeling better right now (my health condition isn't good) Before I will go to the hospital again, I decided to make my second mod for PZ.
    I won't tell you too much for now, but I'm gonna post here few screenshots
     

     

     

     

     

     
    I tested them in-game, and that Jab's model loader works surprisingly well.
    I'm gonna make more weapons soon, pipe wrench, Ice axe, lead pipe, crossbow, metal rod etc:

    An area i have been working on, going to run out of apartment blocks soon so if anyone wants to create some that would be great.
     
    Unfortunately this area crashes on the vehicle branch when driving into it.

    I had a few questions for you map modders:
    - Is it possible to apply a vegetation biome using WorldEd? For now I have only pine trees, which are not really adequate for my environment. I would like to have fruit trees and such. Is it something I have to do manually? - I had seen a while ago a video where you could see a developer scatter vegetation on the fly, is it something that exists within tilezed or it's a future feature of the creative mod? - Is there a centralized DB with all .tmx building created by the comumnity? I wish to consult and contribute! - Is there any "populate" tool in Tilezed that I should know about before getting started? Like for roads for instance? - Do you have any piece of advice for me? Remarks, suggestions...?

    Hello everybody,
      I have been a big fan of project zomboid for quite a while now and since the beginning I have been fantasizing about a PZ in a European environment. I tried to create a small part of the coastline near Cherbourg. It's my first map on PZ.   Eventually I would like to cover the whole area around Cherbourg with the nuclear power plant in the West (La Haie) and the more rural and fishing area in the East. But that's something that will be possible only when the creative mod is avaiale as the region covered is too big for manual editing.   I had several objectives while creating this map: - Fun roads. I have been very impressed by the vehicle update and it is clear that vehicles will become an essential part of the gameplay. But in the current maps, roads are straight, and not very varied, so I tried to bring the spirit of small French roads, with many branches. Also I have reproduced the "boccage" structure of the fields so when you drive around you can't necessarily see inside the crop fields which I think gives incentive to stop from the car and have a look around by feet.   - Interesting coastline. I went for a "lande"-ish coastline as it is hard to give a sense of elevation. For now it looks very empty but I'm planning to make new vegetation for this specifically.   I'm planning on adding new tiles also, the goals is to use the vanilla tileset as much as possible but I have started making a new tileset.   I'm also planning, but for much later, to make boats. I already have one or two models that are close to completion. (sail yacht and motor yacht) I guess it should be doable to create one out of the template from the vehicle.     I've been mulling this idea since the vehicles branch was released and I think I might have found a solution to having visible, interactive interiors in larger vehicles such as campers, rv's,  cube trucks,semi's, etc.  It's easier shown than described so I made up some screenshots:
       For gits and shigs; lets say this is a camper

    And I want to setup or lock down the vehicle  

    I would have to park inside a highlighted area that I would select either left to right or up to down so the interior could be properly generated

    Now that I am parked inside the highlighted area, I would turn the vehicle off

    And as such, the interior is now generated, perfect for camping in the woods or for those that like a life on the road

    So, is this a feasible solution, or is this just wishful thinking?

    The lag seems to have diminished a bit, but otherwise it still persists, especially in higher density areas. I've got a problem though. I changed settings and was 2 times magically teleported into other places, the third time I was teleported in a car, while I was, IN MY CAR, DRIVING. Damn. Also, there's an invisible shadow and I presume that is of the parked car that I've been teleported on. Zombies regarded it as a solid object too. Uh, help ?

    I added a bunch of my residential and commercial zones aswell.. alot of building variety to be added to a map.. .I hope someone adds them to a map, it be cool to play in those buildings. 
    some buildings might be missing room definitions, dont remember, this pack was abandoned months ago and I believed it was better off if the community had them.
     
    ====I strongly advice not to edit the buildings, they are made for the player to struggle to get in, Let the player figure out how to go in, them. some of the buildings blocks are straight puzzels with many dead ends====
    ***DONT FORGET TO INSTALL THE CUSTOM WALLS IN YOUR 1X 2X FOLDER!***

    I thought id put this here just as a suggestion as well. I made these for my map but i think they make certain storage areas alot better than just piles of wooden crates. This is a supermarket for Eg.
     
    These pallets appear full when they have loot on them and empty when no loot just like normal store shelves, It wouldn't take much to implement and its only a small idea but it looks alot nicer and more immersive than a huge pile of huge wooden crates
     
    Hopefully something similar can be done for the vanilla map.

    I'd like to find a way to make a mod that changes the ambient sounds with seasons. Such as when the leaves change in autumn you'll hear leaves rustling, maybe less bird songs and more crows or geese as birds migrate, etc. Then in winter the sounds might change to more cold wind, less leaves. In spring maybe the sound could be more birds, and in summer more insects. I think it would really improve the immersion and atmospheric-ness of the game.
     
    What do you all think? I've tried editing the .bank files but I don't know scripting well enough to make these changes happen in game. Any suggestions?

    That's really amazing ! From the picture I can see a very innovative system being worked on, there's a few things in chat which are a bit weird but otherwise I love that you could interact with them and such. Maybe they would be able to fortify a building and work on making crops and looting, if not having enough food resorting to trading or killing you. This should be seen by the Dev's as it's pretty amazing and the NPC kind of thing that I think we should all see.

    The whole thing looks amazing. I hope that my pc can run it tho, I sent the specs on my pc in another thread a few minutes ago and hopefully you guys are watching it right now. Lovely thing with the suspensions although yeah, they really did bring back the old style rap videos from the 90's. The new car damage textures look amazing as well, and I'd love to see in terms of animations zombies thrown on the hood of the car and cracking windshields and such, making it even more dangerous and depending on which type of car you'll chose to drive the odds of it getting rendered unusable. Not only that but I think that:
    -Streetlights should become solid objects, along with a few other street decorations.
    -Cars parts should be found in mechanic shops and storage facilities.
    -depending on the speed of which you're driving the zombies will be damaging your car more or less.
    -vehicle height will count in terms of zombie damage to windshield and hood while driving with average to high speed.
    -siphoning (with a garden hose from either cars or the pumps themselves or using a siphoning kit).
    Please make it so that we can siphon from the gas station after the power goes out. (using a hose maybe).
     
    Otherwise everything from above seems amazing ! Good job as always and hopefully the fixes will help everyone out.

    Hi!
     
    First, sorry for my bad english. Then, i know that NPCs are planned for future builds and that a mod already exists but I want to bring my vision to the game.
     
    I love the Nolanri mod that I have been using for a while. But I find it incomplete. So I decided to create my own mod.
    What will he do more than the Nolanri mod?
    Better AI. Explore, loot, eat, drink, sleep. Better survivors spawn handling. Better management of groups (yes with S) Talk with NPC. Become friends or.... ennemies Quest! Not a priority but i work on it. And more...  
    Currently the mod is only at its beginning but I already have a screenshot to show you!

     
    At left bottom of the screen you can see the interaction window. The available dialogs are below (yeah i have a deubg dialog lol) and the conversation history above. Still above is the status of the relationship. With "Let me see your equipment" (that changes in future) i can see the inventory of NPC in the window at right. I can drag and drop item like a normal container.
    The dialogs are like tree and each branch can contains other branches.
     
    I'll give you soon more news about development
