  1. Dont always Trust the Wiki myself so i thought id add it in the way that people see what the the Devs themselves have so far put into it.

  3. Thought about it too, just to add on the Cons though, it makes more noise as they are hollow, i think, sounds like it in reallife though.
  4. yeah, i was just pointing out, that if there was someone out of that list that would know to some degree it would be them, but yeah the point you made still stands.
  5. I meant like So you can see what you still need to fix it, just like how you can mouse over things in the building menu and see what you are missing.So we dont have to go to the wiki to see what we need in our inventory to fix it everytime. Thanks!

One thing though, could you note in the OP or just edit it in the Non Lua script text, To make woodwork to carpentry throws me off and probably confuses new players to trip their balls off when they see that. Or just change the name for carpentry to woodwork in the game so we are all on the same page. if its not to much of a pain that is, Otherwise awesome job so far. Also is it planned for there to be a way to see the ingredients needed to repair an item in the game so people can see what they need?
  9. This would be good, juggling tools is horrible currently. Im amazed for once your not shooting me down on sight Thought you had it out for me at some point.

On a second look in the game files, the profession that seems to be the closest to knowing how this works, of those that are already planned to be added are Military soldier and Military officer. Who themselves probably wouldnt even have the machining skills but that could perhaps be learn though if such a skill would be added, eitherway this topic is waaaaay ahead of its time in my final conclusion. if they do add the machining skills, i would say a soldier could be able to do it, maybe they also add books later that will learn you new recipies or something like that but we cant know that for now.. [books with recipies then i mean books that perhaps contain info on how it works..]

  12. It would also be nice to see this same in the way of a carpenters belt, for a hammer, and nails and screws and the screw driver, and possibly the saw too? :3

You are very welcome, should I dare submit another contribution to this community I shall certainly try to avoid your thoughts on how I choose to spend my dev time I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say. I think he considers himself a dev as hes a modder, it seems. But yeah until someone comes up with a really good idea i agree that it isnt worth the devs time. Also I think the Devs dont wanna include it as they also want you to use guns sparingly if you wish to avoid a horde...
  16. Also supressing your gun with a phonebook brings more problems than well.. no only problems really. in most cases it would be good for one shot if said shot goes through it. Then it would like many possibly even catch fire.

Well its like rathlord has said before they dont have silencers so far since they are usually illegal and then also it doesnt silence the sound just muffle it a bit or supress a bit, but its still loud and also they are extremely hard to find irl. if you wanna simulate this better you can also turn down your zombies hearing to poor.

Multiplayer Will come but dont hold your breath waiting, the devs dont put up ETA's but heres a link to whats going to be added and what not. http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/192-commonly-suggested-suggestions-read-before-posting/page-10#entry54400 Also the splitscreen is for now bugged as hell and not worth bothering with, none of the buttons work as they should. It will be fixed but for now just wait and see and try to keep up to date on the updates, like here forexample on the First post.
  19. Yes i agree on if you always look north theres no need for a compas, thats cool, though eitherway even if your character doesnt know his way around but is going to survive there. You should have the option to get a map and look over the area so you dont just wander aimlessly. And if the devs are trying to make it feel like its you who is surviving and not your character then they missed the immerssion part already. We cant do enough yet in game technology to properly immerse you as a character into the game. Eitherway, maps can be found, if i were there, id look for a map. All other things aside, maps are a thing for a reason, we should be able to use that thing if we want to, when we find one.

  22. I didnt get this, but some say compatibility mode fixes this and they are also working their asses off to fix this.
  23. Yes! That would be great. When the waterworks fail after a couple of weeks, you would have to make decisions on how you use the water you collect from rain etc. If you should wash yourself/clothes or drink it. A great way to ad more depth. Well that wasnt my point, i meant more like any sane person would opt it for drinking over cleaning themselves, maybe when they add more water sources you can take a little swim or such to get clean..

Yes the armor is said to come, and they are working on the correct looks for things ingame, But they dont seem that focused on Hygiene, as we humans adapt and when surviving we dont really care too much if your clothes are dirty. you also wont be focused on taking a shower and a bath when you might already be struggling to find water after a while :3 But yes the hard covered magazine and duct tape combo has been on my mind for a while too. Not too durable but it can take a few hits bits and sratches.
