  1. Do all the files need to be renamed on the client or on the Linux server?
  2. This happens to me when my controller is recognised both directly by the game and also as a steam input device. I have to go to options -> controllers and check only one or the other.
  3. Sorry for late reply, but I thought I should post for whoever might have this same question. For me, the game is running well on a GeForce 730M - the key is to lower your resolution. I always run fullscreen 1280x720. One time I connected to a TV and it went up to 1080p and I immediately had issues. Bringing it back down to 720p I can even do 4 player split-screen OK. I had a similar experience with TF2 even though it is quite an old game. It started running really poorly all of a sudden and I started turning down graphics settings to help. It didn't help and I was baffled. The difference was that I had used an external monitor and it bumped up to 1080p. After I went back down to 720p I could turn the model/texture quality back up with no issues.
  4. ALSA is the low-level sound system of the Linux kernel itself, if you don't have ALSA you would probably get no sound from anything. Either pulseaudio or pipewire run a layer on top of ALSA to provide advanced software sound features, such as mixing/muting individual apps. The goal of the launch option is to tell FMOD (the sound system used by PZ) to ignore pipewire and use pulseaudio. In reality the pulseaudio it will be using is actually a compatibility layer provided by pipewire.
  5. I'm on Arch Linux with audio and mic working fine. The difference might be that Fedora 35 has started using the pipewire audio subsystem. I would try setting these launch options for PZ in Steam: FMOD_ALSA_DEVICE=pulse %command%
