Even if this would (maybe) be more realistic, gameplay-wise it would not be a good idea because the game tends to become easier the longer you are alive anyway... aside from spawning more and more zombies and players challenging themselves by taking unnecessary risks just for the thrill of it. -
More food packs (Candy, Cookies, Salami/Hams, etc.)

Yes... uncivilized brutes, indeed. I disagree reagarding shields though - today police forces around the world are using shields for riot control and defense against "raging masses" and that would make sense against zombie attacks also I think. You would use it to keep them at bay and shove them to a distance where you are able to use a weapon efficiently.

Maybe a little bit to complex to be implemented soon given the state of the game but I really would like to see something like this someday =) -
I guess in a real apocalypse the availability of the different kinds of goods would change very differently. In the first few days (at least after the initial panicked plundering) it would be food, bottled water, weapons (guns especially) that run out pretty quick and later, after many weeks or even months, it would be tools and other long term survival things like seeds?

I like that idea! The only thing I'd throw in for discussion is that a cleaver should be "chop" and not "cut" in my opinion

Already on the roadmap for one of the next major builds - and there are a few blog posts about it.

In the real world climbing on top of a car (other than a very high transporter or suv) would be stupid and some kind of last resort move. From a game play perspective it could make sense if it lowers the chance to get grabbed and increase the chance to kill the zombies with one hit. If, on the other hand, a zombie grabs you it should make you stumble and fall eventually like a crawler got you.

Even if I like the possibility to watch different channels I have to admit that I really never do (and therefor also do not know the story bits from news tv) and this idea would indeed fix this, so... +1 on this

I'd like to see something like low pain threshold with uncontrolled screaming when you get injured and high pain threshold respectively

Built one for myself, it's time consuming but not that hard - would recommend "more builds" mod though if it should look nice. I also used the "ladders?!" mod.

That's actually how it already works? You find a bag and right-click it in the "floor inventory" and choose "equip on back". Or have I misunderstood what you were saying?
