  1. Still do love the unintelligible mumbling... hope they give us both as option. Would just like to see(hear) more variation
  2. I do like the synergy idea a lot but more as an additional goodie (combination of lvl10 skills)
  3. IRL Many cars originally provide a way to fold over the rear seats to increase the trunk capacity. Sadly this is not implemented as of now.
  4. The effect should depend on your maintenance skill and maybe the axe skill. It should also let you gain maintenace.
  5. Would be more like a visual thing having soda in bottles, but nice anyway. I like the idea of "red cream soda" to resemble a popular brand in this region very much also =)
  6. You can't (at the moment). It will be part of the next major build (b42). However, you won't be able to build a basement, just use those that are present then (afaik?). Some basements will be static for specific buildings and there will also be some basements that gets generated randomly for various buildings (private homes mainly I guess).

It would impact gameplay... I thought about 2-3 tiles around you, so using guns effectively would be out of the question. It would also impact foraging massively, I guess.

-5.25 / -5.00 I know how the blurry world looks like *g I just suggest that there should be a small area in front where the character can see "near normal" and further away it gets gradually blurrier.

Finally, short-sightedness gets a visual effect! \o/ One feature I'm waiting since forever =) However you may think about a more distance-related blur instead of this all-out-blurry-vision, it is WIP I know... super-excited right now!
  10. Nothing more satisfying than a well timed swing from my trusted bat throwing them off their feet
  11. I don't think that you can simply project how humans behavior in a disaster that is focused on a region and has a definitive end to the apocalypse where society basically collapsed and no jurisdiction exists any longer
  12. Yes watching those videos will (hopefully) prevent injuries but it won't really increase the effect the training has. You will still need a few weeks of hard and disciplined training.. that's just how it is.
  13. Yes that is a saw. I agree with your post though.
  14. That was muuuch text for a short morning-coffee-read *g but I have to agree with all you said. The time frame will realistically be way shorter since we use our things all the time and keep them poorly maintained most of the time, honestly I didn't think of that. As for the "water goes bad" mod... that would be a nice vanilla addition. Same as fuel going bad after a few months.
  15. I guess that this "problem" will be solved with the coming NPCs all by itself as the reason we all have plenty is that there is noone we have to share with (willingly or not). Even on small servers with a handfull of (coop) players this is not a problem but with more than a few and hostiles too? I think that food actually can then be a problem or at least something to be considered on scavange runs.
  16. I agree with all you said BUT if you talk about realism than you also have to talk about the time frame. Fact is all the things you mentioned last years... cans of food have an exp.date of usually 2 years (and could be still safely eaten for a few years after this date). Wooden constructs if done by a capable person hold for years to decades depending on the quality of the wood... though we could argue that we use fresh cut planks all the time and they will deform and break sooner but not in the next two years either and therefor way out of the "default run". T-Shirts also hold for years and quality jeans much longer. TIS would need to decrease the durability of those things to an absurd level to be game-play-relevant (like the tools are at the moment) but then again it has nothing to do anymore with realism but just making the game harder or better "more tedious" as you would need to constantly repair your stuff.
  17. @SalmonAs a workaround would GeForce NOW (or any other games streaming service) be an option, provided it's available in your region? If you have a decent internet connection...
  18. Yeah definitely! Great idea
  19. There are the msr700 and 788? where you can attach a 8x scope... than it's 20-30 tiles (not that much, I know)
  20. Totally in on it... where should I send my money to? I also want the premium 1-week-season pack with extra loot and exclusive starting crowbar
