Loads of times I've come across a note on a desk, or a journal on a survivor, and been disappointed to open it and find it blank. It would be really cool if - similar to annotated maps - they could spawn with stuff like "get milk", "Jane's report card", "Mike's Journal", and so on. Keeping in the style of annotated maps, maybe they could also provide info on things like loot, hordes, etc. I feel like this would add a nice bit more atmosphere to the game, and fill a void as well.

I've been trying to learn how to use the map editors lately, but have run into a couple of glaring issues. I tried to create a billboard in TileZed, but couldn't because only one level was available, as oppoosed to the three required for a billboard. Also, when editing a cell in WorldEd, everything appears grey except my buildings, even though I have selected the folder Tiles is stored in as the tiles directory. Has anyone dealt with these issues before?
