I have a fairly new HP Core I7 with SSID drive that when I was running 41_56 would scream with absolutely no problems. I upgraded to 41_60 and started having problems while playing the game, with the screen pausing, then flashing a black screen, then back to a frozen screen. I could still hear zoms moving around, and I could walk and swing weapon, but nothing on the screen was moving. I would have to X out of the window and reload the game to continue the game. This might happen again within 30 seconds of reloading, or it might run 30+ minutes real time. I upgraded to 41_61 and still had the same problem. I completely uninstalled, then reinstalled the game to 41_56 and the problem continues. I had over 500 hours of game play before the problems started.
I had 3 mods installed, and have tried with no mods with the same screen freezing problem. The game has become almost unplayable as if any zoms are near by I can't close out and reload fast enough to not get attacked.
