Hey everyone, So Im working on my 2nd map its been some time so re-re learning it all haha But I have come across this odd issue, when I load into the game my map shows on the Map and Mini Map but the road and trees are not actually showing in game... I had this issue in reverse on my first map *not showing on map / mini map but showing in game* I have rebuilt the lot files and started fresh.. i just can not work out why its not showing up... Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

I applied the update file to CartoZed but i still get the same error.... O.o

Hey, not sure where to post this lol. I was wondering if its possible to set up areas that can not be claimed by players to build in? Don't want players to be able to claim and build in military bases but not sure how / if we can??

ok so i added it in and loaded in to test.. didnt work.. went to visit multiple gas stations in sp *all vanilla except for my map* and turns out that its not vanilla.. looks like it was one of the mods we were testing and decided not to use doing it.. i so thought it was vanilla though hahaha oh well sorry

I have a gas pump on my map *gives fuel etc* but no way to get info on how much fuel is left.. at a normal gas station there is a massive container *the multi part you were talking about* where you can right click on it and it will tell you how much gas is in the station.. Is there away to get the right click part to work else where? like.. is it just adding the multi part container in and thats it or?

So far so good I do have one question, at gas stations there are those containers that tell you how much gas is available in the station.. do you know how to add that option to a custom location? is it just putting the container down or is there more involved to it?

hmm interesting.. i updated workshop so as not to have spawnlocation.lua now any way.. odd i never picked it as a spawn but.. hopfully that fixes it thank you so much

Thanks, Ill remove it now, the crash we got was even picking Muldraugh as the spawn location but Ill remove the file now to be safe.. did you check it with the 2 maps we found as conflicting? *load bedford or raven creek after my map and it does the error*

wait.. worldX= worldY= posX= posY= and posZ= what do these all reference?

hehe was one of the first things i tried was removing these files to see if it fixed it.. this was before i knew it was a conflict.. i then tried putting it back with an actual spawn point and still didnt work.. so yeah i really dont know what could be causing the conflict with these two maps.. im going to be looking at their spawnpoints and spawnregions.lua files later when home see if there is something in them that could be doing it.. i left the spawnpoints.lua there and empty in mine and left the spawnregions.lua with just the vanilla spawns so as to keep the option of where ppl wanna spawn in vanllia locations showing *to be safe* honestly knowing its a conflict *which i started to think was likely* and knowing which ones are causing it is only step 1.. but i dont even know where to begin in trying to work out what would be causing the conflicting... do you think its most likely spawn stuff somehow or could it be something else?

well i picked the location i did cause no mods we have effected that area... I dont know what could be causing the conflict though.. any ideas what would be causing it? I added a note of confirmed working maps it works with and these two need to load first but.. still would like to work it out lol

ok so the maps that caused errors is Bedford and raven creek. loading these 2 first before my map fixes it

anyone able help me with itemzed? i wanna make a journal that has pre-exisiting text in it and cant be written in... is that possible?

so did a new reinstall of server.. only my map.. it worked fine no errors and map showed in game etc to.. so there is a conflict some where just need find out what mod is conflicting

was waiting for my friend to do that... and it works by its self.. not to add them 1 by 1 *server was fresh installed to*

there is "Map" option its set to a vanilla map (selecting a mod map isnt even a option) Mods: Western Compound;Fort Knox;Blackwood;WestPointExpansion;Otr;Pitstop;Grapeseed;BedfordFalls;lakeivytownship;RavenCreek;FORTREDSTONE;tkTiles_01;DylansTiles;Diederiks Tile Palooza;eris_minimap; steam ids: 2714425939;1414568604;2536865912;2195155059;926737806;2597946327;2463499011;522891356;2252982049;2196102849;1516836158;2384329562;2599752664;2337452747;1619603097 I redid the spawn point on my map (making sure it was deleted and then saved to update the lua file which is now empty)

my map dosnt even show as a spawn location.. only the vanilla ones.. i did re-run the update to spawnpoints *ill do it again* When I load in it lets me select a vanilla location to spawn at... ill look for a settling like this.. its just odd it does it when my maps installed but not when its not installed...

did you ever solve this issue?

ok finally got to test it again.. i actually removed a few errors myself (was getting 3 to 4 errors... now i only get one its still forcing closed the game and telling me to check the log file.. this is the end thats showing errors

im hoping to be able to test it on the test server soon and going post log here as soon as i can.. the version on workshop should be the same as my local one in that directory.. i did remove it from the mods folder and just used steam but it dosnt seem to load local unless its in that mods folder If i am using default distributions i dont need a lua for it do i? same with if im not letting people spawn in the map i dont need a spawn lua file do i? I have my main mod file with mod.info poster.png and folder media in media is maps folder in maps is the folder named my mod again then i have the .lotheader, .bin map.info thumb.png lotpack and worldmap.xml *to make it show on map* files... (total 19 items in this folder) I also have spanwregions.lua file in it (so the spawn location of the 4 default areas shows up)

for now i have put custom loot on hold. i dont have the console log any more *it got overwritten when loading in host mode locally which works fine* and my friend forgot to give me access to the server to restart it to update the map after i made changes.. the dedicated server you add the mod id details etc and it auto downloads the mod from steam to the right area.. it works all find without my mod installed but as soon as the map is loaded in it breaks n stops the server from loading.. i just dont know what could be causing it to work in hosting a local server but not on a dedicated server. server is version 41.65 same as our main server *we have test one to try fix a lot of errors we get on load etc and setting correct for next wipe of our offical server

i need some help with my map i made.. hosting local it works fine.. but when we put it on the dedicated server it causes a unexpected error to come up and tells you to look at the console.txt file.. i dont have the error any more but would would be causing this?
