  1. There are currently a number of mods which make ammunition craftable and I think this feature should be added to the core game. The reasons are fairly straight forward: 1) Ammunition is something which dries up quite quickly, especially on multiplayer servers. 2) You can 'work around' this by turning on 'loot respawning' - but in doing so, you do lose the feel of 'off the shelf' resources running dry and a need to engage in what will hopefully become a much more diverse and detailed crafting system. How it should work. Ammunition is made from 3 components: 1) The casing Casings should be available via a variety of methods: Following expenditure of any ammunition, there should be a %chance a recoverable casing is found. Foraging tables could be populated with casings (which you think should be available in the US following a zombie apocalypse!) Spawned around bodies / corpses where firefights have occured Available in bulk from some stores. 2) Gunpowder Gunpowder would be available via methods such as: Dismantling ammunition Fireworks Available in some stores / manufacturing locations Craftable - though this would likely be of a lower grade, crafting skill could influence how much is refined 3) Bullet tips Bullet tips should be available via methods such as: Craftable - it should require some kind of machining / work bench (that the devs allude to in the recent patch notes) Metalworking - Should require a certain metal working skill Also, they could be available in certain stores / manufacturing locations 4) Bullet creation Bullets would then be created by combining Bullet tip + Gunpowder + Casing (the casing used determining the ammunition type). This would require a crafting skill and perhaps an advanced recipe to make various bullets
  2. I agree that this should be considered a critical fix, it is completely game breaking.
  3. Expected Result: When you have watched a VHS video, it is logged under your list of 'watched VHS videos'. Actual Result: When you have watched a VHS video, it is logged under your list of 'watched VHS videos' UNTIL you log out and back into the server again, at which point the entry has been removed and you can re-watch the same video for experience gain.
  4. I don't get why a sledgehammer is so rare, it's essentially a long piece of wood with a heavy piece of metal or stone at the end. A makeshift one would be easily made in a zombie apocalypse from some wood and a heavy weight. These things existed in ancient Egypt over 3,000 years ago - we /ought/ to be able to craft crude ones, just like we can stone axes.
  5. I certainly think there needs to be an option to have resting on MP servers that is tolerable time (real life) but does mean your character becomes tired / needs sleep etc.
  6. New recipes. Allow some forms of beers, wines & spirits to be created by cooks. These recipes would require certain ingredients, (barrels, distilleries etc), and you could make them from yeast, sugar, potatoes, berries etc. New Traits (These are mutually exclusive - i.e, character can only take one). Alcoholic - (-3pt trait) Character is an alcoholic and gradually becomes stressed when not regularly able to consume alcohol. Sidenote: Mechanics would be similar to smoker, only for alcohol. Alcohol is arguably more available in game, hence the recommended -3 pts, rather than -4pts. Abstainer - (-2pt trait) Character refuses to drink any forms of alcohol. Sidenote: A fairly minor downside is that the player can no longer use alcohol as a source of nourishment / happiness.
  7. Hi, A fairly simple quality of life suggestion! Rather than display steam usernames, can you please allow (or have an option to allow), the display of character names instead above a players head? Thanks.
