  1. If it's for the exact same thing, we'd rather not have duplicates- it clutters the system up and makes it harder for the devs to use. They read it all, so duplicates aren't actually going to help He only has a single ticket open and that is for zombies climbing through closed windows, not for rain collectors of varying efficacy but the same carpentry level. So I do think you are mistaken my good man! Or perhaps you are confused as to what he meant when he said "I have another one opened, still waiting for answer." and thought he referred to another ticket on the same subject matter, which if it were the case would naturally mean I am suggesting creating a duplicate which would be quite inane on my own part. Just to be clear: it was about opening a new issue on a different bug/problem as Viceroy said, next time I'll choose my words more carefully I haven't opened the new thread yet because I am still testing this rain barrel problem to give more details (maybe I was wrong so I want to be completely sure about it). At the moment I am playing in a different part of the map and need some time to check that rain barrel again.
  2. Thanks for your reply. I created a .7z with save files, I'll open a new "issue" report soon. I have another one opened, still waiting for answer. I hope I am doing everything correctly
  3. Before posting in the Bug Reports section I would like to ask one thing. I am playing a game started with build 27 (updated to 28.3) and I have a lvl4 rain collector that fills more slowly than another one just a few tiles away and it empties more quickly. Is that a normal/known behaviour for some barrels? I used the "search" function of the forum and didn't find anything about that (that doesn't mean it doesn't exist)
  4. It happened again, same window, I wasn't recording but shadowplay was on so I managed to captured the moment anyway, the video stops immediately after the zombie climbs through the window. I'll upload a video on youtube and send you the link with a private message. If you prefer I can post the video in the bug reports thread, please let me know.
  5. Oh, sorry I misunderstood, I got it now. Thank you.
  6. Sure, impossible to get a screenshot, I'll try with a video. Won't be easy, that happened just a couple of times with build 28. One I am 99% sure,I barely remember the other one. A quick question about this. I didn't know it would burn down the house in 27.2 because I never tried, I used campfire only a couple of times in the mall and it was ok, I assume it was for the dirt thou...
  7. I see. Do you think it's possible or what? I am pretty sure I saw that happening yesterday testing the new build, obviously I'll pay more attention next time, I am aware recording would be the only way to show you... First I'd like to know if it could be possible or it was my imagination I was running away from some zombies in West Point and this one went straight to the closed window and I saw him doing the usual climb through animation and disappear... I tried to go around the building to see if he was there, but I couldn't because, well, fleeing
  8. A question: do you mean when they climb through a window when it's closed ? (not broken obviously) If yes, I am pretty sure I saw them doing that in build 28. If no, could please explain what do you mean?
  9. A question. Is the game smooth for you in the mall? I have a huge fps drop there, especially when I run, like I run for a few seconds and game "hangs" (just a short "freeze") then I continue playing (it's playable but not as smooth as anywhere else in the map). Also the mall is the only place where it crashes while taking the screenshot of the save, it doesn't happen every time, but well...it happens.
  10. I am trying the map editor as I've already said in other posts; being new to this (and not expert in general about videogames, not to mention modding) I often have doubts about almost everything. I hope you won't think "why are you doing this then?" . Doing something for this community (like a map or a building) would be just another way to express how I really like this game... Btw I am not young (compared to a lot of people here) and actually I'm not even a gamer, so that's not a good start Anyway... I tried searching in the forum first, but I couldn't find the answer I was looking for. So at this point I think I know how to use tilezEd, WorldEd and BuildingEd (maybe not every feature) and I am asking myself what I need to know and what I want to do in order to create a map. To be more precise, I was thinking about creating a new map, but my biggest concern is I don't want to touch original files of the game, except the map (lot files). So I thought, without knowing how to mod the game, "what should I expect"? My idea is: to use same map size of muldraugh and westpoint (or edit/overwrite some parts) and just overwrite the lot files in media/maps. 1. Then the first doubt is: Zombiespawn map. Watching the file from the editor, it looks like a grayscale version of the map, white -> a lot of zombies black-> none. Is that correct? If yes, what else to know about this? If no, what to know about this? 2. It looks like the character's starting position is randomly picked from a list of coordinates (located in a file of the game), but I have no idea how it actually works. Probably I'll have to manually add starting positions in some file, if that's correct, which file? 3. About loot: at first I was sure it was about the type of container, but remembering gigamart where shelves had food, another post in this forum came to my mind, a post where someone was saying about room names had something to do with loot type. I checked a file "suburbsDistributions.lua", maybe it has nothing to do with this, but looks like every container behaves according to the room's name, I suppose if I want to have the same behaviour of a shelf of gigamart I just have to call my room "grocerystorage". If that's correct, I also would like to know if loot has a default setting, like saying I call my room "ASDF" and that means counter will contain this or that by default (food, clothes, etc etc.). I don't want to create 20+ tbx files plus all the tmx files realizing later I can't do this or that and can't use this or that in the game as I intended. I'm pretty sure I will hear a lot of : "actually, it doesn't work like that" If there's more, but really more, to know, don't even reply to my questions, don't waste your time, just let me know and I will forget the idea to create a map and maybe I'll just try some simple tbx. Thanks in advance.
  11. Thanks for your answer. Yes, sure. It's clear. Actually I thought that too, if it's ok from the view I am watching, that means it's ok, but being a noob I am kinda worried I am doing something wrong every time. Good someone confirmed this to me. In case I want to use the same building from another side, sometimes I just have to move some objects in the right position again. Is that correct?
