  1. nope, in the non beta version the blackscreen is gone (withouth having to change zoom, i should add) edited my above post a bit, i had mixed up the visual effects of "low" and "lowest" setting
  2. eya, after reading hellspost i thought id boot it up and play around some more... got 2 screens dont know if this one is a known bug for that version, but if you run into a low-setting fog in particular it doesnt update untill you stop running, thought id share it cause the black region does resemble the starting screen with the bug... maybe its something in the lightning part that gets messed? second, after messing about a bit with the settings it seemed to reproduce the same effect as hellsempty after a while. console log: p.s. mine is dual core, and i do believe the weird lightning started after changing core to 1 and back to 2

  7. Also confirmed greenscreen, and downloaded iwbms again to be sure. Console log seems the same tho (theres small part missing) is there any parameter i can run the game with that lets it save the console output in txt?

  9. back... heres mine: Note: the "java.io.EOFException" happens when clicking sandbox, guess some savegame causing it.

  15. The setmonth, yea it will reset, i think even when you load the same map gonna fix/remove them at some point since theyre just test stuff for me. Thanks for pointing the trees out i know what causes that so ill make sure to fix it for next update. Yea, it may run a map without the mod loaded, but i strongly recommend not doing this, its at your own risk A map linked to the mod should always be ran with the mod active. Hmm thats rather difficult, atleast with the noise system its using right now. Imagine the seeds being blown away by wind. Im going to fix the trees so they are cuttable, and perhaps a sickle for next update so yall can keep nature from overtaking your safehouses Thanks, and to comment on your problem. It snows from 20 dec to 10 jan (from memory, hope its right ) if it doesnt display snow, i recommend trying it with the public beta branch (you can select that on steam in the properties of the game) Dr. Cox had problems with snow displaying that were fixed by doing so. Also, Ive got a little distracted by some sideprojects and rl paintjob. Hope to finish the update later this week.

  17. hey there, robo had sent me the link, however i have not looked at character sprites at all, so i have no idea how they are handled internally. Also, i dont think youll need new sprites or manipulate the sprites themselves, but just unset/change the hair/beard. Im thinking, perhaps you can find what you need in media/lua/OptionScreens/CharacterCreationMain.lua?

  20. Wow some awesome stuff in here, its a pleasure reading through this thread. I like your stuff pixel bombs, wish i could get those results digitally. Im doing fairly ok with pencil and paper, but when i tried digital... didnt work out Ill share some of my stuff as well:
