  1. The problem is that means that players would have to wait hours on end for the sleep cycle to be over.

In case you don't know, you can enable sleeping and tiredness in Multiplayer. Go to the server settings and somewhere in that maze of options you'll find the option.

    Finally.

Please add a companion dog in the next 42 build for hunting and character support (as like "Chester" in "Don't Starve") so that the dog can be used as additional storage, to scout a situation, or as an aid to knock zombies off their feet. It's will add unbelievable emotions and new game-play in game.

This is purely speculation, so take this with a grain of salt, but I'd think they'd add "recruitable" dogs with NPCs. I do agree though. Dogs would be awesome.

    Cats would be cooler though.

  3. The problem is that any significant amount of metal to armor you would be RIDICULOUSELY heavy. So yes, they could add this in, but in the end it would be the thing that killed you. Think about it. Against a single zambie it might be useful. Heck, it'd probably give 100% scratch and bite resistance. But, the thing is, you would be much slower because of the weight of the metal and your attacks would be slower, again, because of the weight. Now, fight against five zambies. The defense is good, but pair that with slower attack speeds and generally slower movement... These zambies could very easily be your end.

  4. They made the smoker trait worse than it was before. From what I can gather, the devs didn't like people thinking of it as a throwaway perk for free points, so now they made cigs rarer, and made the anxiety and depression debuffs more powerful. Also, just from gameplay, I think they might have increased the rarity of matches/lighters.

I'm sorry, but they also made it to where if you don't smoke for a long enough time, you'll commit suicide.

  5. Before I start, I do want to say I absolutely love this game, so please don't take my comments as "the game isn't good enough."

No. 2 is the next update they're working on from what I've read.

No. 1 is coming after that.

No. 3 might be added along with NPCs. This is purely speculation though. However, already in the game there are a few secret channels. Here's a list of some that a redditor posted. *Take it with a grain of salt though, I haven't actually tested to see whether these are real or a troll. Secret Radio Channels : projectzomboid (reddit.com)

As for No. 4, I have no clue whether they plan to add anything. I support this though. imo, It'd be awesome to plant down a wall with a hole just small enough for a gun to sit through and mow down zombies. The idea is that, unlike a window, they won't be able to climb through.

Speaking of mowing, I don't think lawn mowers are a priority. I was born after the 90s, so I've got no clue whether lawn mowers were around then lmao. However, bicycles would be an amazing idea imo. Cars are loud and require fuel, but bicycles are stealthy. If, let's say, the speed of the bike depended on your fitness, you could make short trips out of any walk. Besides, no matter what, the bike's gonna be faster than zambies, so you'll be safe from that.

Ok, if No. 5 is added (no, it's not a thing), they'll need to seriously balance it. For example, fortifications for cars would make it slower (because of the weight it'll require more gas), and turning would be much harder. I would also like to see this, as it would be an amazing tool for clearing out hordes.

I hope this clears up some questions. However, don't expect these to come out within a few months. IndieStone puts a lot of time and effort into this game, but that also means that it takes a good bit for updates to come out.

  6. I was playing with my friends and unfortunately, one of them was bit. So, I was given the honor of beating him to death with a metal rod. As I was there looting his stuff (lol), he turned into a zombie, which was expected, but IMMEDIATELY rose up and bit me. Point is, I think if you are standing directly over a former teammate as they become a zambie, they shouldn't rise up immediately. Just my personal opinion.

  7. Instead of simply limiting your ability to heal some things, I could see there being a failure chance when doing certain actions, like taking out a bullet with tweezers. This system, in my head, could be somewhat based off of RimWorld's (which is, in my opinion, is in the top three medical systems in a game I've ever played), so that a level 1 First Aid would not just take forever to remove a bullet or to heal from the wound, but would have a chance to disturb the wound, causing either some sort of rupture or intense pain.

  8. Yeah.

If this doesn't become an official feature (not holding it against the devs or anything, they've got more important matters than making it to where you can hit zambies with a stick), I figure a modder will add this.

  9. Not much to it, but I think it'd be neat to have quarterstaffs. Like irl, they'd have a large AoE so you could hit multiple zambies at once. Perhaps have a wood quarterstaff made of sturdy sticks and then a metal one made from a pipe or some such. Personally, I think it'd be good for dispersion of hordes. As a sidenote, I think they'd also have a good chance to knock zambies down, because, of course, quarterstaffs are supposed to be swung at the legs/head/throat.

    Thanks for reading.

  10. I don't think snakes would need to have a poison effect. Just like with eating poisonous berries, your pc could start getting sick and feverish.

As for hamsters as an added bonus they could decrease boredom and sadness passively while in the same room as them.
