Thanks for responding I left the items there for 1-2 in game days if that helps.

I'm using windows 10 with no mods I placed some items on my base floor more specifically a riot helmet and military Boots after I closed the game and reopened it a few hours later they where gone. I searched my entire base and could not find them.
