  1. Feature, not bug I think, although it probably will get the risk of a fire later.
  2. I don't know, because I have it now. Probably best we let them finish the update. Ah I'm sorry... Well I'm going to go test it now. EDIT: Okay it's not as bad, still kinda slow-mo. Can't wait till Christmas, New Processor etc!
  3. So this may fix the reason I have been unable to play the game due to the slow-mo??
  4. It starts at like 5 fps, then gradually gets better to around 20-30, with the vast amount of drops to 10-15. before I never lagged at all.
  5. I have a Intel I3 and it's a Quad Core... With a AMD Radeon HD 7750. Even, if this doesn't fix it I'm looking forward to a CPU upgrade at 'round christmas so I can wait.
  6. I know this is the alpha of the beta or some test but i have one question. In the future, what is the game going to relay more on? CPU or Grpahics card? Always CPU - no exceptions. With multithreaded rendering and certainly once we make the move to 3D geometry this will only become more so. Java code is slow as shit compared to C++ code, and running java code is CPU all the way. "Recommended specs" on Steam will definitely say 'quad core' and minimum at best dual core, as this is pretty much the biggest factor in FPS. Quad Core with good clock speed (say 2ghz) even with a poorer graphics card you should get pretty good FPS. 8 core, or quad core with about 3ghz and you're more or less definitely getting 60fps even with intel integrated graphics. Basically at the moment I suspect those with bad FPS will be those with single or dual core. We need to get dual cores running well because according to Steam hardware survey some 50% of steam users have dual core. ;D Well hot diggity damn i am i am screwed I have a Intel Core 2 CPU @ 1.86GHz So much for that one then If you're screwed then we are screwed. As I said 50% of Steam users have a similar CPU you have goes without saying we'll need to address this. At least to the point it's playable (and not horrible to play) It's playable but still lags a ton, I have a intel I3, (quad core) and it's super slow. before this build however, I never once lagged ever.
  7. Will this fix the horrible lag that has all of a sudden started? (Still love this game even If I cannot stand the lag).
  8. And what he is saying is he wants to play as a member of this group Now that you have the in-game option roleplay as the bandit in Kate and baldspot (or any future NPC), I don't see why this couldn't be a thing. It could also be a kind of "easy mode" or "action mode", starting you out with better than average gear, but perhaps more immediate threat as well. You don't get to play the role of the bandit, the scenario just plays out depending on how you play it. He is saying you start as a military officer. the don't start as a bandit, that is one of the many possible scenarios to happen depending on how you act. another npc could be the bandit way before you get their.
  9. The main point of the game is surviving, and In what they have said so far it seems like the military are going to be one of the more annoying npc groups. I don't really like this idea, but that is my opinion.
  10. has anyone tried heading as far as they can north of muldraugh yet? I might do that.
  11. How about invisible wall after you open your carpentry made doors?
  12. This house is good (Single floor surrounded by Fences) and the large warehouse to the west of it.
