  1. I really like that you pointed out the unrealistic behaviour of predators in video games, in 7 Days to Die even non zombie bears and wolves turn hostile when you're 10m away from them, that's stupid ,but okay-ish since it's a 3D grind game with respawning and no progress loss, so no matter how many times it killed you it'll still have valuable loot and it'll be worth it anyway.
  2. -Formosa Interactive UK / Noiseworks - making ambient buzzing noise when player is near power pylons while power is still on. (sort of like the music playing in the mall planned thing) -RE-adding interesting loot like magazines/bullets/guns on zombies and maybe more unique loot. -Slowing down the erosion for default settings, it's silly seeing a forest form in your neigbours backyard 2 monts after he didn't tend to it, -Vines growing around utility poles and power pylons.
  3. This is downplayed so much in PZ community that it's almost unreal. Not long ago, but not that recently too you could shove zombies with a gun at 60% more speed (IDK if you could move during then, but shoving with a pistol was MUCH faster, it was almost as if you were playing with a human being that valued his life, but not anymore) Lastly I hope this won't get downplayed on forums as is was anywhere else in PZ community.
  4. Prepear to have your minds blown, did you guys know that you don't have to fill gas cans only to carry gasoline around in real life! That's right you can take a tea cup and fill it with gasoline instead of tea or you can fill a bottle/bucket with gasoline for much higher effciency then you could have achhieved with a cup. Now I know you need some time to take a breath from screaming, I mean WHO could have KNOWN that you could do such things!!! I myself personally though that this was some kind of witchcraft, but my friend told me that this is in fact totally possible. I couldn't go without asking him one thing: "Hey man, this game I've been playing recently called Project Zomboid, it too let's you fill stuff with gasoline, but only if it's red and called gas can, you know anything about that?!" to what he replied "Ah yes, either the devs of the game don't like their playerbase or they're too busy adding jalepenos, fish roe and power pylons to add such things." This left me in disbelief, esecially after he sent me this. Note that text above this one contains sarcasm to make our (players) situation look less lame considering we still can't do this despite getting dozens of new foods and things in the game that aren't as helpful as this one, yet so simple and especially after the gas cans became rarer, kinda a lot rarer + imagine the benefits in MP.
  5. I don't mind blood decals, it looks nice when you decimate a horde of 100 zombies and you see that bloodshed aftermath, or when you get a wound and you start leaving a blood trail, those are some cool details, but after some time the blood decals start causing my game to stutter, especially when I load into the game near areas heavily hit with post combat blood decals or driving by those areas, some minutes after loading into the game stuttering becomes norma-ish, and by that I mean you can stil feel it, but it's not bad. This used to be a problem with corpses but now they despawn after 9 days by default. It'd be really great if blood decals despawned like corpses after a specified timespan or after a storm or 1-5 ligher rainfalls. Also it looks weird when snow falls over it, somehow the blood gets on top of the snow and it's still visible. In MP I loved tracking people with blood decals but man servers that were up for more then a week/month are a disaster, unless you turn off the blood decals in settings you won't be playing there anymore, but that's another thing I don't like, if I turn them off I can'ttrack people nor could I see it in singleplayer, so there should be a balance, just like the one with corpses, but this only counts for blood decals outside in the open, blood decals in closed spaces like houses, stores etc. should stay there, but you should be able to clean it off with a bucket of water, and a sponge broom or a towel with enough effort.
  6. Yeah it's not a bug, but it sure is stupid, there's a horde of sprinters outside your house, you've seen them from the upper floor and you know that a singe wrong Q missclick can get you killed, meanwhile your character got into the 3 stage of boredom and is now depressed because he's in the safety of his house while everyone is dying, gosh so boring?! One day I might be able to connect these dots, but today is not that day.
  7. How do you hide that smell and I don't even want to imagien the taste!!! You'd be more succesful at killing someone with a butter knife then this.
  8. That's impossible, it's like saying "There's no other way to know if autumn is starting without a calendar" You've got colder temparatures, shorter days, yellow leaves etc. Now when you've got no idea where the helicopter is just look at the zombies and they'll be heading that way, left, right, up and down, this is a visual indication that shows you exactly where the helicopter is, or atleast where it's heading to and attracting zombies.

One question, can you add white mushrooms/common mushrooms/champignons whatever you wanna call them in stores and fridges? We've got lots of new foods, and exotic ones like meat dumplings, sushi etc. but there are no champignons, It'd be nice to have acces to non poisonous mushrooms without foraging for them in the early game. Also about power pylons please give them a buzzing noise, I don't think it would matter how loud they are, power pylons are in rural/forest areas so they would only attract closer-ish zombies and make mini hordes under it, would be a cool sight in the fields/open grounds, also it's a sign that society as we know it is still somewhat alive, till it isn't a month later when power goes off and world gets owergrown. The game Into the dead 2 has some levels where you've got objectives to run under power pylons which gives you these end of the world creepy vibes as the world is still somewhat alive with reanimated corpses shambling throughout the forest trying to get you and through the game lore telling you that this whole "end times" thing isn't only happening in the US but globaly.
  10. Yeah, but we need a lot of balance to wounds, I wouldn't mind getting burned or scratched more likely in every day actions, when I'm panicked etc. but right now a singe scratch slows you down too much, laceration/deep wound is like your hand fell off for a period of time, for what it's worth right now you do NOT WANT to have to use first aid, and to make wounds more common!? NOOOO
  11. Now I totally understand what you're talking about, if you're careful enough you'll never have to use first aid thus making it useles, but for the sake of balance should you really force people into getting wounds trough random everyday actions just to make this skill useful and then forbid them from tending to their wounds till they've graduated med school during the apocalypse, that is if they didn't die since they bled out like pigs because no one on the server or SP game had more then 3 levels in first aid. There's no need for all of this, some people are just careful and they wou't get hurt and some are not, so this is more of a from person to person thing, the only thing that should be balanced is the seriousness of regular infections, right now sleep and regular infection is something you take for granted, since it's badly developed / underdeveloped, but the reality is much more grim. In a post-apocalyptic world with no hospitals and professional medical treatment a single infection could mean death and unless you clean those wounds every now and then you could very well die, a bullet wound is something you would not be able to deal with unless you've got atleast some skill in first aid. We should just wait and see what the devs had in mind, they said that they would make you black out if you've been really tired for too long, they must have something planned for first aid too.
  12. Absolutely! If you place a candle on the table in the middle of the room you could light the whole place, the only differenc is that the corners of the room would be much dimmer, but still better then the pitch darkness without one.
  13. So we've had the ability to place items for quite some time and that's just great, but let's talk about the potential of being able to turn on the flashilghts while they're placed on something. So flashlight, an item that is not of much use unless you loot during the night or until after the power shuts off since you don't want to bring a generator to every house just to be able to safely navigate inside, but even after the power shuts off, though useful it limits you to only 1-handed weapons, and it only provides light in the direction that you're looking at, but imagine how great would it be if you could go inside a house, place a flashilght in a corner, turn it on and shower the whole room with light, and now you can hold weapons with both hands like axes, crowabars etc. and even see behind you with your "hearing" which makes looting safer, 2x safer with keen hearing. Just in case I'll mention how freaking useful this could be for the illiterate characters. In this picture it's been 4 months since the power went out, and since I don't want to bring my generator wherever I go, I have my trusty flashlight with me. Now imagine if you didn't have to hold this flashlight, and instead place it on the counter behind you , then turn it on and get the same effect, but now you've got 1+ hand to use and you can see behind yourself. With the flashlight radius as it is you could light up most of the houses and apartments throughout the map.
  14. YESSSS this topic has been brought up to the top, we need this ASAP. I want to carry and preserve food at the start of the game with ice and coolers, so I could hoard tons of fresh food into freezers bonus trait organized.
  15. It's a cheezy mechanic from devs side to kill players, this one PZ youtuber found it and made a video about it, it's truly magic, some time ago I had a great spriners run in Muldraugh I was boarded up in that red brick house with 2 floors, and while I was going to sleep I turend the light in my room off and on for no reason just before going to bed, then I rememberd that I had some magazines to read because it was still a little bit early to sleep and then 20 in-game minutes later they started coming and soon after my house was surrouned, I was terrified because I have never experienced this with fast shamblers let alone sprinters, since I kill all of them in the neighbourhood before heli comes.
  16. I just need a trap simple as this one from The Walking Dead, I mean it could be a good start to other traps, It doesn't have to kill zombies I just don't want zombies to gang up on my house just because idk turning on the light is louder then shouting, but they could break if 10+ zombies gets on a single carpentry level 1 trap (more levels more zombies)
  17. Antisocial would be great for multiplayer and it can branch out to NPC's relationships, trust etc. for 2-6 points (depends on how much it'd affect these things down the line) The bloodlust trait sounds uninviting, it could be useful if you fight players only etc. but very VERY bad if you like to go around, kill zombies and help people, you'll have to get trapping up ASAP and get all the books in the world.
  18. Oh sure sure I won the lottery, it's not like I found it in a places where it could spawn or anything. I'm not on MP.
  19. Have you been to this place? This is where I found my latest sledgehammer. https://map.projectzomboid.com/#0.47452895322591276,0.24642867721503067,351.7913715065994
  20. I have a character on a world where I've maxed out foraging long ago because the amount of xp you got from books was absurd and he too started with level 0.
  21. No mods, I've been playing vanilla for a long time, 2 works for me in multiplayer but in SP it just won't work the way it does in MP. How much xp do you get when you discover/pick up twigs mushrooms etc. with skill books only?
  22. 1.While walking with the search mode on the game kept tricking me with the eye icon that just pops in and out of existance above you that tells you there is something near you when there isn't, sometimes I have to circle around that same area and item that was detected for a split second may or may not appear in the area that I've already circled. 2.I don't know what's up with the search mode radius, but it doesn't seem to be working in singleplayer as well as it is in the MP, it's just waiting for something, by the time I menage to find something while dealing with the first bug, the item appears next to my legs or just a tiny little bit further out. (note that there was no fog nor clouds at the time) 3.Foraging xp multiplier from books isn't working, I've read the foraging book for intermediates since I was able to get the first 2 levels WITH the TV and the beginners book, but now the multiplier just doesn't seem to work, with 5x multiplier you'd think that picking up mushrooms would give you more the 16.--xp, but it doesn't and that's the best I've got, besides an empty bottle that gave as much, twigs and branches barely go over 10xp when you combine discovering and discarding/pickuing up. These three what I assume are the bugs become pure pain when combined, you can't properly look for an item and when you think that you've found something you have to circle around untill the search mode radius is finished with his coffee break so he could potentially show you something or nothing in the same place you've circled around from the start. I'm on the 3rd level of foraging and getting to the 4th level seems kinda impossible let alone the levels above.
  23. Just look at this man 1 save 1 town and I'm not even trying.
  24. Being able to transport AND preserve food at the same time would be just great, right now probably the closest thing to this would be to quickly take some frozen foods and rush them to a specific location that has a fridge/freezer under 2 in-game hours to avoid it from melting and spoiling, but this is not very effective so being able to use cooler boxes and cold packages to keep the food in cooled state or frozen state for longer periods with more cold packages would increase the effectivneness, these cold packages could be reusable, but could be also a 1 time use item and with every pack you get 12 - 24 hours of refrigerated effect on foods in coolers, since coolers don't have much space you'd be using this exclusively for food that can spoil. More cooler boxes and cold packages means more food to store and keep fresh, this would make both itmes useful, cold packs won't be just for smoke granades (if anyone even makes those) and coolers will get a purpose, both of these will actually have a significant role in the early game for those who want to stack up on fresh food before the power goes out as you'll have the opportunity to keep the looted fresh goods preserved in your van while you're transporting them back from Louisville to your base in Muldraught for example.
