  1. Not sure, but I think you can break small fences if you go fast enough. Still hurts the car pretty good too, if I recall.
  2. Nothing like getting pinned in a corner by a shifty office chair and a small trash can. Can't remember which police station it was... but it got me killed... twice.
  3. Don't know if I'm too young, too old, or to uncultured to recognize that screen grab.maybe all 3?
  4. A T800 may be able to lift and fire a minigun, but I don't think people can. I'm not unopposed to grenade launchers or rpgs, but I feel it would change the feel of the game. Not to mention create a fine opportunity for pvp griefers to ruin your day.
  5. There is a setting for that in the options setting, if I do believe. View pans further forward the faster you drive. I think it is off by default, and is more system intensive, so expect an fps drop.
  6. Nah. Just using the ashtray as a storage receptical. I just get annoyed when I find a bunch of cigarettes but no lighter. Although, with an adequate application of gasoline, I'm sure one of those metal coil style car lighters could get the job done. Ya may need a broom and dustpan though.
  7. It might have to do with certain limits in the engine, like how stairs can only wace north and west. Which is something one of the dev blogs said they'd look into, so might also address such issues as these.
  8. Cremation and an ash tray is all you really need. Digression: it's the early 90s, why don't these cars have built in cigarette lighters?
  9. I do most of my driving using cruise control. Always hated using keyboard buttons as gas and breaks, so I set cruisecontrol to go. The recent update allowing you to set cruise speed to whatever speed you were driving is cool. Is there a way it can be set to 0 with a keystroke? Going from 50 to 0 to avoid cars in the road presently is kinda janky. Break, lower speed, reverse, and repeat is kinda silly looking.
  10. No worries man. The devs do read their own forums, and I've seen countless suggestions implemented over the years. Never hurts to pipe up and sound out your desires. Granted, there are a number of things they'll likely avoid altogether, listed out in one of the pinned topics in the suggestion forum, but I've found them quite receptive to suggestions.
  11. You can bundle logs together with regular or sheet ropes to lower their weight, so facilitating a mechanic that reduces corvpse weight shouldn't be too out there. Maybe force the player to still carry the corpse with both hands, just allow another body to the mix? Drag more of them at a time, and fill up your cars seats, trunk, trailer faster, then dump em on your buddy's front lawn. Can't recall how much a corpse weight in game, or what the storage capacity of a glove box is, but maybe even cram one in the glove box? There was a point in time where you could stuff a fridge in a fridge.
  12. I thought the soap required less water to wash, but now that you mention this, it occurred to me I never actually checked this. As far as crafted soaps, folk have used woodash mixed with water, creates a natural alkaline solution, and can be used to wash dishes, hands and whatnot. I suspect ashy water wouldn't work too well on fabrics, if you don't want to gray them up. That's why they used stale piss to clean clothing since ancient Rome(and probably earlier). Ammonia, baby.
  13. Zombies can crawl under cars, why can't we? Less to do with a specific shooting stance, but slightly related. Let us go prone, let us crawl, and if no backpack is equipped, let us crawl under cars.
  14. Mountain Dew may be the closest thing available at the time. Energy drinks have been advertised since the early 1900s, but that stuff is a far cry from what we would consider an energy drink today.
  15. This is why I usually tone down the erosion setting in sandbox. I think it defaults to 100 days for max growth, which is a little to quick for my tastes. Of course, with a more natural rate of erosion, I suspect most players wouldn't live long enough to notice the mechanic in action. Which is why I suspect it is set to what it is by default.
  16. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2573418067 Hopefully this helps.
  17. Can also be done with plastic pop bottles and a knife. Not the greatest stuff, but reasonably strong, assuming it's not an old as bottle that's been sitting out in the sun for years.
  18. Fire hardened spear tips, while they're at it.
  19. When I'm home from work, I'll see if I can't find the link. If you're antsy to give it a try sooner, try searching for high contrast moodles, or status effects. If I recall, I believe it was slightly configurable too. So maybe that it has options for colorblindness.
  20. I think there are a few mods on the steam workshop if you have that version of PZ. I haven't tested it out yet, but there is also a mod that let's you free draw on the map. I definitely want to give that one a try.
  21. I imagine this'll be addressed in thr future, as it doesn't seem fit all that well. Probably added as a mechanic to keep players from hunkering down and hitting max time-lapse to pass the day as opposed to going out and risking death. Boredom increases while sitting in a car. Don't know if it also rises as you drive or not. Not a fan of its current implementation, and am hoping it gets addressed in the future.
  22. Makes sense when you put it that way. It's been a while since I last tried, but can you still put a fridge inside a fridge?
  23. If you refer to the way they handled it in State of Decay, I have my doubts. You can swap between two characters in single player, but unless you're playing split screen, only one character exists at a time.(under load game, select more options, and you can make a second character). I'm sure someone in the modding community will rig this up once NPCs drop, assuming there is a demand for it.
