  1. I'm copying the entire save folder, so if you need any other files, let me know. Edit - including a copy of the console file and latest save.
  2. Version 41.46 no mods. The game froze and I had to force it to close through taskmanager. I have quite a lot of items at 12475 x 8920 campgrounds, inside and outside the house. Walking to bottom left corner while inside the house and looking at the stack of items I have there, the game froze. Sometimes this will happen, when walking towards the bottom window, or near the open doorway on the right. I've been chasing down this error for almost 2 years. I deleted the old console file and got it to freeze again. Here is the clean console file with the error. As of right now in the game, I can make this error happen everytime. This is what it says, along with a copy of the clean console file. 3. Do you happen to be using both unlucky and resilient traits? I had this same problem months ago because the traits were conflicting. Back then I was using 4.138/ 4.139, but now I'm playing 4.145 and it still happens when I use both traits. Edit - Also, the forum link to the post still doesn't work properly. It just shows the picture of the link that you (can't) click on.
  4. I checked another item to see if I could get it to happen again. I made a salad using 1 beef jerky and sat it on the floor. Once it stopped being "fresh", I added salt, pepper and another piece of beef jerky to it. Each time, it got worse and worse.
  5. Edit - This only happens if you are able to add "poisonous berries" also. If you only have regular berries, it stops at 6 like it should. Edit - All you need is one salad, you don't need multiple for this to happen. Edit - You don't need regular berries, just poisonous ones. I dropped the regular berries on the ground and moved away from the area and was still able to add ALL of the poisionous berries to 1 salad. I was making a fruit salad by adding "random berries". I had more than 1 fruit salad highlighted in my inventory and kept adding random berries to it. I clicked on "berry salad", so that it highlighted both of them instead of the individual one that I was going to add the berries to. Normally the maximum would be 6 berries. If i do this, I can add as many as I want. After adding 18 berries it stopped letting me for some reason. I ran out of the poisonous ones, but still had 43 regular ones. It might do this with other recipes also, I didn't check. Edit - the first picture looked a bit odd, so I came back to say that I clicked on "berries" but had my mouse over the salad, so that it showed up also.
  6. If you completely empty a foraging zone, then walk slightly into the foraging zone next to it and try to forage, your character forages one time and stops. This doesn't happen if you go a couple feet farther into the next foraging area, just close to the edge between two of them like they slightly overlap by one or two squares.
  7. 41.39 no mods After making a pot of soup and cooking it, I made 2 bowls of soup. I put them into the stove and cooked them again. It doesn't raise the -hunger anymore from cooking it that second time (this works properly) Before I cooked them for the second time, they lost "fresh", but I don't think that made a difference on letting me cook them again. Edit - after they re-cooked, it showed "burning", so that works properly also.
  8. This happened again. I had a fish salad "fresh" in the ice machine. When it no longer said "fresh", I took it out and added salt and pepper to it, which added +unhappy and +boredom. This might only happen to evolved recipes like soup, salad, sandwiches. it seems that when an item stops being "fresh", anything you try to add makes it even more unappetizing. I can check a few more items, but it takes a while for them to stop being fresh.
  9. I don't use any mods. I didn't drop it onto the floor, so it doesn't show up in the loot panel. I right-click and "place battery charger" from my inventory, so that I can use it to charge vehicle batteries and that is when the wall gets in the way. If I drop it from my inventory to the floor like I would with a bag of chips or something, then yes I can pick it up and it shows in the loot panel.
  10. I just tested it with a few other objects. I thought it was a bugged spot on the floor, but if there's an object blocking a window, you CAN walk through it. I agree with you, they should add the animation for climbing onto objects when going the opposite direction also. It just looks weird when you walk or climb through an industrial fridge haha. I'm not sure what they could do for that one though, seeing that it's a full size object and you wouldn't be able to climb over it when it's as big as the wall. I can even climb "through" my truck into a building. However, If I have the truck blocking the outside of the window, it won't let me climb back out. Edit - Just be careful where you park.
  11. I think that might be the case also, but usually if you try to go through a window and something is blocking it, your character climbs onto and over the object, like a small bookcase or minifridge in the way. I can have my character walk through the crate normally and not need to go through the window also, just moving from NE to SW along the inner wall.
  12. It's a bit hard to see, so I chose it from the "loot menu", so it would highlight it. I have a crate built inside the house, directly to the NW of the window. I also have a crate outside house, that is 1 spot south of the first crate, so that the two pictures overlap. It lets me walk through the crate that is inside the house. (No collision) Edit - the second picture is much easier to see, after I turned on the lights.
  13. I posted this in here and in general discussion. I have already deleted the pictures from my computer, so I had to link the other post, for you to see them. Edit - there seems to be a bug in the forum, regarding the links also. It won't let me click on it and go to the other post.
  14. It doesn't give the option to take or even use the battery charger, if you place it near a SW wall. Just like building or upgrading a wall to the NW of a SW wall, it will choose the SW wall instead of the other item. This can also happen if you are near a SE wall and building a wall to the NW. I have to destroy the wall, to be able to pick up the battery charger. Once in a while, I have trouble getting the option to use my rain barrels, because they are on the NE side of the SW wall.
  15. 41.39 no mods I haven't tested all electric items yet, but the generator doesn't show how much power the Ice machine uses. The mini fridge is in the other room. I also have two more "grey" lamps in other rooms, but they are currently turned off. Edit - The 2 front doors at the gas station, that I got the Ice machine from, can't be dismantled. Location 11600x8311. It might be like this for all gas stations.
  16. I've seen this happen to a few of my food items also. I haven't tried making any recipes lately to see what causes it yet, but if I remember correctly I was making a sandwich at the time also. I can try to test this later. I don't have any ham, but I do have squirrel, fish and many other foods to make sandwiches with. On a side note, if you use a lot of the same ingredient, it will start making the food "boring". Like a fruit salad using 6 of the same type of berries. (this part works properly)
  17. Actually, my character is using the Unlucky trait. Edit - I haven't seen any perishible foods anywhere else, but in lunchboxes so far.
  18. 41.39 no mods I have the game set for 12 months after the apocalypse, but just found a lunchbox with a "fresh" banana in it. I took the lunchbox from the cupboard into my inventory, equipped it in my secondary hand, then switched to it and took the banana. (I'm explaining this part because of what happened with the other lunchbox.) I also found a lunchbox the other day that had an apple in it, but when I moved the lunchbox directly from the cupboard to the floor to look inside, the apple disappeared. I have the world options set so that there shouldn't be any fresh, or perishible foods at all. Except the items that I get from farming. I'm guessing that for certain objects, the game doesn't look inside a container + inside a container. However, if you find a garbage bag inside a trash can, or plastic bag in a cupboard for example, you CAN find items in those.
  19. I checked to see if it was throwing the error with other types of clothing, because it was "favorited" when you tried repairing it, but that didn't cause any issue. I'm wondering if the "deputy jacket" itself could be causing this, except I don't have one to test with.
  20. I haven't had any problem repairing clothing yet. I'm using Windows 10.
  21. I think you might mean the "double wooden door" to let vehicles through perhaps? It uses 12 planks. I was talking about the small wooden gate that you can find on farms and around gardens. I checked the list again and can't seem to find it, unless it lets you build a gate between two pieces of fence if you right click on the spot? I haven't tried that yet, since my fence opening is against the side of the house.
  22. At the beginning of the game while the electric is still on (if you didn't set it to instant shut-off), the inside of a building is normally heated to something like 71.6F. After the power goes out, the temperature drops to whatever, depending on the time of year of course. For my character in November, it was 40.6F in the house. If you set up a generator and turn it on, to give electric to the building again, the heat doesn't come back on. Edit - I wouldn't expect the heat to work in player made bases though, just the pre-made buildings.
  23. Besides food adding calories, it can also lose calories the same way. I just think of it as, they dropped a piece on the floor (less), or there was food stuck to the bowl from the last time they ate (more), since we don't need to wash the dishes haha.
  24. I was putting down floorboards and had a plank in my secondary hand. I had a few more planks in my inventory, but once It showed that I couldn't make anymore floorboards, it still shows the plank in my hand. Edit - after equipping something else in my secondary hand, the "fake" plank disappears. I've had something like this happen before when a "stone hammer" broke while placing floorboards also. The hammer broke and turned into a plank that I was still able to use like a hammer, to place floorboards, until I removed the broken hammer from my hand. Also, I've come across a sound bug, when using a saw. If I remember correctly, (Edit - I tested it) have a hammer in your primary hand, right click and saw planks, then lay floorboards, it will still use the "sawing" sound effect when nailing down the floorboards. Edit - Have the saw in your inventory. I didn't try with a garden saw, just the one that looks like a hacksaw. It also does this if the saw is in your secondary hand, but not if it's in a bag.
  25. Here is the link to the previous "frozen food" bug, that I posted.
