Here's the poster, it works properly, Here's the other view, i guess I transformed the image, maybe stretched it to far And this is what I want to accomplish,(not mine) but would like some help to understand tile placement to be able to create it and make it work and have the tiles connect or join properly
  10. Ok so this is what I'm after. I managed to make a poster, but I also made a custom wall but it doesnt line up properly...it overlaps with other things, bad placement I suppose..since there are no guides yet on how I'm just free ballin it but am stuck.
  11. I used Photoshop because it's the one program I know how to use, but photoshop sometimes screws up my bitmaps, don't know why. So I started using GIMP (which is also like Photoshop...just not as pretty) which is easier to use than photoshop just getting used to the keyboard shortcuts. I looked online for the map to Chernarus, then just basically drew the map with keyboard and mouse..all doable, just takes time. Especially with all the layers....
  12. Just had a big boo-boo happen yesterday..... My laptop decided to crash so I had to reinstall windows again..My brand new router also decided to go POOF! Crappy day, crappy day. Luckily I make backups, but wasn't the latest backup since last week.......G*&^**!! At least I still have some of the backup on the cloud.
  13. Keep on Building!! You make awesome buildings! Currently Im working on apartment complexes.... very low income...from 4 floors to max floors available right now. Very, very low income. Will post them later tonight.
  14. Question about virtual tilesets: What's their purpose? Can I create my own from this virtual "space" Size for tiles are 32x96?? (duh..)Basically what is this virtual tileset about?
  15. You can always open the tbx in building editor, go into tile mode then check, uncheck the different layers to see where they are placed. In my honest opinion it might or might not look good in game as it does in buildingEd until they're tested.LOL.
  16. I havent really checked any of my buildings in game by doing the last stand mode tutorial...been too busy with a lotta things The roof section and windows are all in tile mode. If you know how to import it to the game check it out and tell me if any of my buildings work! LoL Right now I trying to recreate the industrial section of Chernogorsk with the limited tilesets....its alot harder because of it..Im also working on making tiles in photoshop for whenever we are able to import our own tilesets. Peeled wall tiles, and such that make it more of a gritty world, apocalyptic...u know...also in the hopes that PZ would have the inclusion of seeing whats equipped ON the character like say the backpack...would be a neat little addition ti the game. But mainly the implementation of custom tilesets would be fantastic for this world map.
  17. Ok. Just updated it...performance is way better on my specs-crappy laptop lol. I get better framerates than before. Havent noticed any issues yet except pistol gun stops reloading after 2 reloads, and a little black dot behind the characters head. Went towards the highway where the stores and offices are and no lag even when there was a huge amount of zombies around. I used to get heavy lag in that area or wherever there were too many buildings and zombies.. If I find anything else I will post in the bugs section

  19. buildings are coming out pretty nice Im liking them all so far! Thanks for the awesome work your putting into the buildings!! I didn't get a chance to work on anything these past two days but Ill be working on the map tonight. RingoD put a post about room definitions for loot so you can check that out!   20. Just as big as Muldraugh. That's Muldraugh and west point. Same exact size as the rawmap that is in the map tools 6000px. So yes its a bit of a walk since each square is about 300px. I figured why not make Chernaurus the same in that way. I love Dayz (just can't play it on my old rig, LOL) and Project Zomboid so I thought why not make this fusion. Since it's so huge it make for quite a task to edit and detail every city and area so might be a while. But since I love making this map so much, I don't think it'll take too, too long.
