  1. please move the gong sound from before the game starts loading to when the "Click to Start" text appears - ... and for good measure, make it audible even if the game is minimised. my personal reason for this is that, I usually leave the game loading in the background since it takes so long for it to load, due to the immense amount of mods I have in my game lol - needless to say, it takes a while to load, and I sometimes even forget that the game was loading, to begin with. having a sound play as soon as the game is ready would be a good quality-of-life addition that I'm sure would be appreciated by a large number of players.
  2. why would the bonus lower/end if the teacher is far away or busy? did you learn slower when you leave your school (assuming you actually listened to your teacher)? i like the idea, i'm just not very fond of the "effect would end" part of it. additionally, there could be two types of teaching: theoretical (grants bonus exp gain) and practical (gains less bonus exp gain, but gains actual exp in exchange). the bonus would, of course, be added to the bonus the student would gain from reading the book on the topic for their proper level.
  3. i wouldn't mind if this were a per-town thing. and nothing would be permanently damaged. however, repairing the engines and keeping them running would attract a lot of zeds for miles, so clearing out about a third of the town would probably be enough to keep it running for a while until it goes out due to low maintenance, requiring players to do it all over again. (the difficulty to fortify, repair, and maintain would be lessened in single player games, or if the town only has a few players online in it.) and no limits on how many times this can be done, just.. the horde would essentially fully respawn and slowly make its way to the power place if it's cleared out. in other words, high combat skills are required to clear the horde, as well as high.. other skills to do the rest of the job. one individual could certainly do this, but it would take a really long time, and there'd be no guarantee of success. (failure means at least a day or three worth of waiting to try again). and then the entire thing all over again for the water supply, which would require the power plant to be active. or vice versa if the power plant is powered by water. (a quick real life research on the area in the mid-90s would be necessary to know which towns use which power and water supply plants)
  4. dust mask shouldn't take of 20% when foraging - or at all for that matter, and glasses shouldn't take off 2.5% when you're short-sighted while scavenging.
  5. the ability to craft notebooks from sheets of paper with wire or a new item made from wires: spring, and the hole puncher that's marked as junk right now. alternative, string or twine. and then journals from notebooks but half the materials, or from double the sheets of paper and other materials. and then also handwritten books beyond that with twice as many pages as journals, that we can write on. (not the red books. or maybe replace those with handwritten books, iuno) ... and then the ability to set players to spawn with custom-written any-of-those. by the way why are red books, newspapers, and magazines discarded when you finish reading them? please make it so they're less effective when reading them instead. they could be used for other purposes, even to just rip them apart into sheets of paper and string
  6. would it be possible to allow admins to make it so players spawn with a sheet of paper/notebook/journal with something specific written in it in multiple pages?
  7. simple title, i'm sure, but it's more than just about having the ability to mismatch socks - it is the ability to mismatch anything that's worn on the left and right at the same time (for example, socks, earrings, gloves), much like bracelets, watches, and rings can already do. ... and also please add thigh highs. (unless you guys did very recently and i missed it. i haven't found anything yet). while we're at it: • colour wheel for makeup, tattoos, and hair? (e.g.: the pink lipstick is too fuscia, and the red is too strong. what about baby pink? or a colour the palette doesn't have? also, actually white hair?) • similar to a separate sub-inventory tab for worn items, weapons, and clothes, separate from one's main inventory (just one tab for all worn things is enough) • automatically send worn items to this tab. (or if it isn't too much, one tab for each category?) • also auto-send keys to the keyring. • pockets for things that would normally have pockets, with separate tabs for each pocket. • wearables shouldn't be locked to these tabs - ONLY when they're worn. when you take something off, it goes back to your inventory, with the option to drop it on the ground instead. other non-wearable items and foods should continue to work as they do (unless placed in pockets) • allow us to rename literally everything, including corpses we carry. that's it... for now.

  9. a simple idea i had while wearing shoes without socks in RL (specifically heeled boots, but we don't have heels in the game - #pleaseaddheels): as far as i understand it, wearing any shoes without socks in the game has no effect on the player's character. i think it'd be interesting to give the player a small level of discomfort the more the character walks around without socks but while wearing footwear. the more they walk, the greater the discomfort, even turning into pain eventually (but after a loooong time of walking around). -- the condition of the socks would also have an effect on the discomfort gain. ... also, being able to rip socks into basic materials would be interesting too. just like RL. more socks-related ideas i like from comments: "on top of this make it so socks that are in good condition are more rare. ive noticed that they are the easiest bandages to make now and it would be great if they either were dirty/bloody on zombies, or are worn out at least." "We could also add in different types of socks as i know some socks do feel better then others, they could also be made of other mats too for warm comfort etc. like wool socks in the winter and cotton in summer"
  10. just something simple but very quality-of-life-ey: please move the sound trigger from after clicking "Click to begin" to as soon as "Click to begin" pops up - or better yet, make a sound when the game is ready to be clicked to begin.
  11. is there any chance for this next, upcoming update to have thigh high socks, thigh high leggings, full leggings, and floofy skirts in it... as well as more girly things, such as bracelets, necklaces, and earrings? (would be fun to be able to wear those dogtags we find everywhere. and for them to actually have text in them) (i tried to make this into a mod but failed so very horribly xD;)
  12. about the zombie not standing up thing, what if your legs are wounded enough, the z would temporarily switch to a crawling zombie and you played the animation of hitting a wall while running straight at it? (it would basically topple you over)
