    Did some experimenting. There's usually a good correlation between hunger reduction and eating time, except for food with less than 10 hunger reduction:

    Some (low hunger) food items take an unreasonable amount of time to eat. Notably it appears to take longer to eat a Cherry, Strawberries or Radishes than a full Can of Beans or a whole Pineapple.

    From checking the LUA, it looks like smaller food items (based on "hunger" value) will always be forced to the same consumption time as cigarettes:

    I would love to have a key binding that lets me open vehicle doors/lids in one keypress, the radial menu is a bit cumbersome. Maybe simply with a longer press of the E key, analogous to climbing.
    Also, I think the green outlined area to access vehicle doors could be larger. Since the animation update I constantly struggle to hit the sweet spot in the first approach and have to wiggle myself till the green square appears

    I have a rather weak system and run the game at lower resolution.  It's great, looks fine and is enjoyable- however the menus are very large on my screen as expected.

    I've noticed the game allows me to render the UI in a different window with it's own set frame rate to save on performance.  I wonder if that window could also be set to a separate (possibly higher) resolution, allowing me to play the game at lower resolution while the menues are at a higher one to save screen space.

    I always though that you should be able to wash your stuff (and yourself) with (warm) water only and the use of soap / cleaning agents would just speed up the process. Humanity survived aeons without soap, it just made life easier.

    Are you using any mods? I've never had the Place item option for stuff that was not in my main inventory. Or is there another way than right-clicking on the item?

    West Point pastry shop has only non-food items (Concrete Power, Nails, Batteries,…) in the Glass Display Stands.

    There is actually a Mining Helmet in the beta now, I found one in a hardware store. Its icon has a lamp on it but the model does not, and it does not function as a light source unfortunately.

    Can confirm. When not touching Zombie Count but setting Population Multiplier and/or Population Start Multiplier to 0, Zombie Count wont change and stay on its default High and Zombies will exist in the world. Though after a short test I'd say they are not as numerous as they normally are with the default ZC=High, PM=1.0, PSM=1.0.
    But I do get a completely zombie free world when I set Zombie Count to None.

    Did four Custom Sandbox tests just now. Deleted the Zomboid folder in my home directory each time beforehand, so everything should be on default. The only thing I touched was Zombie Count set to None and I encountered no zombies every time while running through the streets shouting like a madman.

    currently it is possible to randomize your character and traits but not your starting town. would it be possible to add an option to randomize which town you start in?

    It takes a different set of tools to disassemble a Sturdy Bench depending on its orientation. The version that has the front towards the camera requires a hammer, the version that has the back towards the camera requires a hammer and a saw.

    When opening/closing a window using the context menu I cannot interact with it using the context menu immediately after. Clicking on the Climb/Open/Close action does nothing unless I move/turn around a bit.
    Also, when climbing through a window I don't always end up standing far enough from the window:

    What traits did you pick? Smoker makes you anxious when you don't have a cigarette once in a while.
    What made you nauseous? If you are sick from zombification you also get anxious as far as I know. So you might be infected even though no zombie injured you, there have been reports from people that had that happen: https://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php?/topic/25989-zombiefied-by-a-bush/
