  1. Hey, don't kinkshame...! I like to imagine my character putting on a napkin, before taking a sip. Drinking it with a ladel would be kinda cool too...!
  2. I love all of you for this little discussion. I didn't think about it in this detail actually, I was aiming for a "kneel to drink directly out of the bowl" - animation, which I think would add to the atmosphere of the desperate situation of losing sources of drinking water. I think if you want to aim for realism there should be 2 containers like you guys suggested - the tank and the bowl, with two different qualities of water in it. But I'm not sure if that's not overdoing it from a gameplay perspective. So I think I would probably just go for bowl-related stuff. Would be kinda cool to be able to hide a firearm in the tank though.
  3. As nothing beats finding a fresh toilet after a long tiring walk in PZ, toilet drinking animations SHOULD be mandatory.

  5. Very nice patch again. The movement feels a lot more refined now. The only thing about it that still feels a bit off is sneaking while over encumbered, like I said before. With the symbol in the red you can still run while in sneak-stance, but not while in normal-stance. That seems a bit overpowered right now. But thats seriously the only thing that I can come up with to complain about and its really not that big of a deal. There is one thing I'd personally hope to see in terms of playability. If you have ever played GTA2 back in the day: when you step on the gas there the camera moves so that there is more room to see in front of you and when you come to a halt its centered again. Right now in Zomboid it stays centered while driving, which makes it pretty suicidal even in medium paced cars to go full throttle. Thats why I would never ever think about getting the "speed demon" trait.
  6. 3 more things I noticed. - there's some wallclipping while sneaking alongside walls. (see attached picture) - sneaking doesnt seem to slow down by being over encumbered, only when tired - bloodsplatters stick to open windows
  7. Nice. That small update today seems to have almost fixed the U-Turn problem. It still persists when you are in sneak-mode and trying to look back though. But with normal walking its perfect now. My life expectancy from looting buildings increased significantly. The whole aim-system is really cool too. I never had this much fun with a shotgun before. I love that the clothing system entices me to pick out single zombies, when I see a fancy gasmask or a big backpack on it. The whole update adds a lot of depth to the atmosphere. Cant wait for the rest of the animations being added and finally watch my character visibly drink out of the toilet (pretty please).
  8. I love the build so far. Especially the updated fence-jump. Its much more immersive now. Only 2 things that Id critizise so far: - aiming 180° while walking feels sluggish compared to the old build. It was always a nice way to "look over your shoulder" and now you are forced into making this strange U-move. I really hope that changes. - hammer combat feels a bit too slow. the speed works well for the pan, but not the hammer.
