    It's 2022 and Project Zomboid doesn't allow us to sort servers by Ping, players, region, or anything else, it's extremely outdated...
    Has anyone complained about this before?
     
    And a bug report.
    The server list works **perfectly** in -nosteam but in the Steam version it hides servers (I'm not even talking about hiding the ones with 32 slots (it should be >32...)), sometimes it only loads 5 or it loads slowly, when you update the server list it becomes an even bigger mess, everything gets shuffled...

    Steam, Build 41.56.
     
    When loading into my old save (made two days ago), there is a lighting glitch where there is flickering lights coming from the distance that seem to randomly light certain squares, and cycle through color hues.
    This phantom light source flickers quickly, making it difficult to play with.
     
    There is no single source point, and the lighting has a defined edge.

    If you have one full roll of toilet paper, you can keep the fire burning (fireplace / stove / fire) - 6 hours 24 minutes, since one part of the toilet paper's delta is enough for 12 minutes.
    In fact, in one of the latest builds, you added a recalculation of the burning time based on the delta of the item, which led to inadequate burning times for many items.
     
    For general convenience, I propose to introduce a certain separate parameter of the burning time for objects with a delta - in Camping/camping_fuel 
     
    Or add this feature right in the item, which would be extremely convenient.

    Indicate directly in the item whether it burns or not, and indicate how long it burns.

    You can change your "Zomboid" folder location by going to your Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties  >  Set Launch Options > Write "-cachedir=C:\Zomboid" there without the quotation marks. Or use any path you wish for the game to use as the main save folder. You can then merge the two folders to move your saves.

    A tent kit is made from 4 tent pegs (.2 each), 2 sturdy sticks (.1 each) and 1 tarp, (1). Somehow combining these components that have a total weight of 2 creates a tent kit that has a weight of 3? I could understand if the new construction took up more rigid space, but you'd just roll the pegs and sticks up in the tarp and have a bundle not any larger than the pieces independently.
     
    Please lower the tent kit's weight to 2, or something close to it.

    The title says it all. In the previous 41 version you could swap weapon while aiming, but in 41.44 you can't do that anymore. You have to stop aiming, then press the shortcut button.

    Solution: get hold of a sledgehammer, right click on the doorframe and select the "destroy" option.

    so i placed a doorframe in the wrong place, it seems you can break down other placed wall components by smacking them with a hammer if you place them wrong, but the door frame has no hitbox to my weapons, however i can crash into it with a vehicle.. though i really dont want to break my only vehicle by smacking it into a wall.
     
    I tried with a few items to hit this object but to no avail.. if anyone has any ideas please let me know

    Yes, it will be good when you press right mouse click your character will look on it derection when character in a car, and also if he have flashlight turned on, ray will goes his right mouse holding position. (You remember I'm russian, right?)

    If you forgot to do something it's your fall. Or next step will be automatically turn off headlights on a car and flashlights when your character goes sleep.
    This is hard game and I play it because of that. I will try to countermeasures against such reliefs in the game.

    and there are many more such examples. Almost all weapons feel longer than their model and hurt when hit literally empty.
    Because of this, fighting with zombies becomes either difficult (it is not clear where the optimal strike distance is) or easy, because allows you to keep zombies at a distance, although your usual weapons do not deserve it.
    I already asked to make different control keys for the upper and lower blow, for different interactions with windows, etc.
    The worst thing that can be with a game is when it does not act as you expect. (You want to hit a standing zombie, and you hit the ground, bend over and bite you.) It is very easy to die in the game because the character does not obey you, or does not obey the laws set by the developers.
    I'm not talking about the balance of the weight of objects - to hell with it,
    but please select a person who will deal with the balance, he does not need to be a programmer, because this is done so easily.

Change "hold E" to another key, give us a choice, please!

    It gets annoying when luring zombies over short fences, but in a different way.
     
    Instead of bashing heads of downed zombies, the character decides it's better to hit a standing zombie behind the fence or the one just climbing over. Happens quite a lot with lead pipe due to its long reach.

    In 41.21, you could look around while loading or unloading a lot of inventory from furniture or a car. This was great, because you could, if you took the time, make sure nothing was sneaking up on you.
     
    With the advent of 41.22, that's no longer possible and my character is fixedly staring at the back of his car for several seconds as he unloads stuff from his inventory. Is this a bug, or is it intended that you can't look around? If it's intended, please reconsider. It's not fun to need to break up the long action to maintain situational awareness.
