  1. ORIGINAL POST BY: EnigmaGrey Windows, but the setting is os-agnostic.
  2. ORIGINAL POST BY: Rick Sanchez @EnigmaGrey Our Server running linux, and yours?
  3. ORIGINAL POST BY: EnigmaGrey Really need the setting tested, guys. it resolved the issue for others.
  4. ORIGINAL POST BY: Rick Sanchez @Batsphinx Yea, video shows the same issue, but his car teleports instantly after he quit it. When i quit the car it keeps standing for a while, and than teleports back. Another suggestion, when your car stuck at the edge of conuses zone and you press alt+f4 car dissaperars from the world permamently.)
  5. ORIGINAL POST BY: EnigmaGrey Can you try changing the setting if not already? So far it seems to have resolved it for others. Just might not want to restart it. Multiplay may reset the value to 500 on startup. Call /reloadoptions in local chat instead then everyone log out.
  6. ORIGINAL POST BY: Tuck > How much RAM are we talking? What are you setting up the server on? 16 Seats. However much RAM that is at MultiPlay. We never went over 5 players online at once and most times it was happening with 3 online. > A video of the problem might be helpful. Does it look like this one? That is exactly what we experience. I'm pretty sure I have livestreams saved on DLive if needed. > What are the server specs? What company (if any) is the server purchased from? MultiPlay. It happened more on 39.57 than on other versions for me personally. I will try the change you mentioned and see how it goes.
  7. ORIGINAL POST BY: Batsphinx @Rick Sanchez Cheers Rick - could you please respond to EnigmaGrey's post though? It would be good to know if his suggestion helps, and if the video is your issue.
  8. ORIGINAL POST BY: Rick Sanchez @Batsphinx In my opinion it doesn't affected by number of players online, sometimes it appears even when i am alone at the server. After last patch this issue became rare, but still. If i get bugged like this, i wait when my car teleports back, than i quit it and press alt+f4, after i rejoin the server this bug dissapears for some amount of time. TY in advance.
  9. ORIGINAL POST BY: EnigmaGrey * Try setting PhysicsDelayServer to 0 in Admin Panel -> Server Config. It'd probably be best to restart the server after making this change, as you have to disconnect for it to take effect anyway. * A video of the problem might be helpful. Does it look like this one? * What are the server specs? What company (if any) is the server purchased from?
  10. ORIGINAL POST BY: Batsphinx @Tuck How much RAM are we talking? What are you setting up the server on? @Rick Sanchez Can you also describe the issue in detail? Is it still the same, or does it appear differently?
  11. ORIGINAL POST BY: Batsphinx @Rick Sanchez How often is it happening compared to the previous build? How many people are online at the time? The previous bug we fixed was on players choosing to exit their cars - is there any particular trigger to this happening still?
  12. ORIGINAL POST BY: Tuck We're also experiencing this problem on our server with seeing the orange cones when in a car, but if you get out of the car you can continue, get back in, cones again. At first it seemed to happen only when multiple cars were together, one following the other. I assumed it was an issue with RAM, so I increased the "seats" for the server. The issue appeared to go away for a few days. Then 2 days ago I experienced it by myself and again when driving with another car and that person also experienced it alone on the server. We started on 39.57 and have experienced this issue on all versions to 39.60.
  13. ORIGINAL POST BY: Rick Sanchez This error after last .60 update, cars are still teleporting, not so often as before, but still
  14. ORIGINAL POST BY: FakeTwo + seems the bug only at Unix(?), 10+ palayers Because other friend doesnt have any troubles, but he hosts at windows 5-10 players Other friends who host at ubuntu have same problems like me..
  15. ORIGINAL POST BY: FakeTwo Batsphinx, ty for reaction! Seems this BUG doesnt depend on distance\location, beacuse my server in RU(Msk) and no matter gamer from USA or my real neighbour with same internet. When players on foot (even from USA) - no problems. Problems in car. P.s. changing parameter WorldSaveTime from 0 > any > 0 make some spike, and m refresh
  16. ORIGINAL POST BY: Rick Sanchez I play at the same server. Server is situated in Moscow, Russia, running Linux. Cars sometimes gets bugged even with 1 player online. It is looks like this is client side essue, because relogin or restarting steam on client side fixes it for a short period of time.
  17. ORIGINAL POST BY: Batsphinx Where in the world is the dedicated server set up, and where are players connecting from? We're trying to work out if distance/ping have an impact on this. And do you still find that the issue happens more when there are more players online at the same time as you? Tentatively we have a fix for this, or at the very least an improvement that people's feedback from will lead to the 100% fix. We should be be putting out tomorrow I'd imagine. Keep the info coming if possible though, as it's all useful.
  18. ORIGINAL POST BY: FakeTwo add
  19. ORIGINAL POST BY: FakeTwo Server: Ubuntu, i5 3570, 8gb Clients: Win10 (i7 8\16gb ram) Sometimes cars break, sometimes repair - this make our server unplayble... Player get pylons, and then teleported to point where he get in car and DISSAPEAR On clientside we have bugs with STUCKTRACE Serverside is clean - no errors even player dissapeared , teleported or etc. may be some logs will help?
  20. English Translations Update: EN/IG_UI_EN.txt EN/Moveables_EN.txt EN/Sandbox_EN.txt EN/UI_EN.txt To see specific changes, go here: https://github.com/TheIndieStone/ProjectZomboidTranslations/commit/60247187f9eaf738b36b3aacf50bc6c2d55b840a
  21. RE: Question Action bar was removed for inventory transfer, because they were generally exceptionally very quick and with smaller items, it would cause the username to jiggle in multiplayer, which proved to annoy quite a few people. So it was disabled.
  22. Thread being moved here: https://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php?/topic/23806-official-translation-files-v2/
  23. This thread has been specifically created to notify the community at large when updates, additions and subtractions of language strings are made in the translation files for the English version of the game. There is also a translations channel on Discord where I will post updates as well, however this thread will be pinned and LOCKED, so the only replies to this thread will be when the files are updated. So feel free to follow this thread so you can get a notifications on the forums when those files are updated. Translation files here: https://github.com/TheIndieStone/ProjectZomboidTranslations Discussion Thread: https://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php?/topic/23806-official-translation-files-v2/
  24. We have made it so that translation files are now hosted over at GitHub to have a centralised place for collaboration when it comes to Translations. It makes it, so we have it all in one location know when translators complete work on translations and more expediently get them placed into the game. Translation Files Here: https://github.com/TheIndieStone/ProjectZomboidTranslations If you want access to the repo as a contributor leave a message here with your username or email for GitHub (or PM me) (what language you want to contribute for) and I'll get you added. Alternatively, you can fork the repo as a means of contributing. We have also created a translations channel on Discord where Translators can discuss changes and such, it will also be a location where we notify of any changes to the English side of the files so you can be more up to date on when the changes happen. You can also follow the forum thread, if you prefer, here: https://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php?/topic/23807-translation-files-update-notifications/ Translators can get the translator role on Discord which will mean you get notifications when updates for translations are released. Completely new to GitHub? Give this guide a read: https://guides.github.com/activities/hello-world/ I also suggest getting the GitHub desktop client for beginners, to make things a bit easier: https://desktop.github.com/ Contributing to translations is voluntary and abides by the Project Zomboid Terms and Conditions
  25. So currently line of thinking is to open up a GitHub repository where we can place the translation files, which would very easily allow us to see when files get updated (so we can include them into builds a bit more expediently) and since every change is logged, it would show when the english translations got updated. I would be more than happy to allow some of the more active contributors of languages, a bit more access over the repository so they could merge their respective language changes. This would give us a nice central place for all languages to work from. Plus maybe I can set up a thread specifically for notifications when the English language side of things has been updated. We did look at some platforms, but it may be a little out of our price range all things considered. (Maybe open a translator channel on Discord for notifications as well?)
