  1. Definitely would value as a player. At first, the game is pretty hard, but getting away from zombies eventually becomes very easy when in the open. Perhaps a 'Varied' setting, so that there is a sprinter or two for every ten fast shambler.
  2. Download Elcipse, create a new Java project.
  3. I'm pretty sure the devs confirmed that no controlled substances would be implemented. Sounds like it'll be in a mod anyway though...
  4. Adrenaline should make you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAjR4_CbPpQ
  5. Professions = { PoliceOfficer = { rare = 1, }, ParkRanger = { rare = 2, }, ConstructionWorker = { }, MilitarySoldier = { rare = 2, }, MilitaryOfficer = { rare = 3, }, SecurityGuard = { }, FireOfficer = { rare = 1, }, Salesperson = { }, ITWorker = { }, OfficeWorker = { }, Unemployed = { }, TruckDriver = { }, Farmer = { }, Cashier = { }, ShopClerk = { }, FastFoodCook = { }, Cook = { rare = 2, }, Chef = { rare = 3, }, Burglar = { rare = 1, }, Drugdealer = { rare = 1, }, Nurse = { rare = 1, }, Doctor = { rare = 2, }, Waiter = { }, CustomerService = { }, Janitor = { }, Secretary = { }, Bookkeeper = { }, Accountant = { }, Teacher = { }, } What does "rare" mean??
  6. Sounds like a great idea. It would give me a reason not to pick ranger every time. +1 like to you.
  7. Can't wait for duct tape and rope to be implemented. I can imagine everything from toaster maces to plank nun-chucks.
  8. Yeah, livestock would be too much of a pain in the ass. It would take forever to get a small amount of food out of them. HUNTING, on the other hand...
  9. I agree, I wish hauling was a skill that could be actively leveled up.
  10. The signs could be read by getting close to them. Then, the text would appear like dialog.
  11. Not to steal ideas from other *crafting games, but could editable signs be implemented? This could be used to warn players, mark territory and "safe" zones, and otherwise personalize the post-apocalyptic world.
  12. I personally think that sandbags are too rare to use efficiently. I suggest that sandbags be found in 20s in crates at the hardware stores and warehouses. Thanks! Also, can anyone think of alternative uses behind sandbags? Maybe as a water filter for the future?
  13. It currently takes 4 tent pegs to create a tent kit. I feel that the pegs could be replaceable with sticks. As a side note, tent-kits could be a fairly rare find in hardware stores.
  14. "so kind of like how diablo works where you can go loot your own corpse?" Damn, thats exactly what I thought.
  15. Thanks for the response. I wasn't sure whether or not I was the only one. Apparently I am...
  16. I know this has been suggested, but I want to get a poll. I feel that Project Zomboid is not a very suitable name for the game as it is now. It sounds too low end. Personally, I think the game devs should consider changing the name before releasing the final product. If you have any suggestions for a possible replacement title, feel free to post! By the way, my brother (who also plays a lot of PZ) agrees with me that the name should be changed.
  17. Sounds very time consuming to worry about. I suggest that the devs worry about many other pressing matters before working with this one.
  18. I had sprinters with bad eyesight, med. smell, and super hearing. They were also weak, but had normal attack strength. It was a DayZ experience. I set the day length to 3 hours, and essentially had to sneak out of town to live. Very good choice for those who prefer harder settings minus the respawns.
  19. It would kinda be a pain since one would have to come up with a new sprite or two for the clothing...
  20. Sounds great. Has anyone made a mod for this stuff?
  21. Maybe there could be a trait that allows you to do this...
  22. This has been somewhat annoying since playing the game. I break into 3-4 houses to have ALL of the alarms going off. Even more annoying is the fact that the electricity is out. Alarms should be much less common, louder, and have an extremely low chance of going off when electricity is gone. This would allow for the small amount of battery operated ones to work (I guess). If anyone knows how to change these stats in the game files, please speak up. Thanks in advance!
  23. Is it legal/common in Kentucky?
  24. To be honest, I really don't like that idea. That is all.
