    Hi,
     
    If you set SafeHouseRemovalTime variable from your server.ini to 597 or higher all claims will fall off immidiately.
    This is a very nasty bug, many people got burnt off this.
     
    I belieive, expected behaviour in this case should be: 
    1. In-game interface should not allow admins to set an out-of-bounds value
    1.1 If out-of-bounds value have been set up via direct config file editing - it should defaults to maximum available value (at least in this specific case).
    2. Acceptable range of values for this variable should be declared in config comments and documentation very clearly.
     
    Also, why 596? Looks like a pretty artificial limit.

    As the title says, when electrical devices (fridges, ovens, etc.) are not placed under a roof (floor), they do not consume electricity, but still work. With dozens of them the consumption stays at 11% per day, which is a base consumption. And my guess is that it wasn't intentional, 'cause it's cheesy.

    Hi,
     
    This is a usability issue, not a big one, but still.
     
    As a moderator without access to server internals, I can't copy values from DB Viewer table. For example, to see all users with the same steamid, I need to open a separate notepad window, write there down steamid digit by digit manually, then paste it in DB Viewer in the game. On the other hand, an admin account can click on a record from viewer table, then press 'modify' and and finally copy value from corresponding 'filters' table field with ctrl+c. There should be a more convinient way to do this for a non-admin account.

    When I clic to stop the alarm of my character's watch, the character first moves for few steps, then stops the alarm. He shouldn't have to move.

    This was brought to my attention via a Reddit thread, but I hadn't heard of it before. I didn't believe it at first, but after some testing, I can confirm it happens.

    The issue happens when you lure a zombie into some specific types of rooms and kill them. When you check the bodies, they will have items on them that should normally spawn in containers in those rooms. The one that I was able to verify with was the small grocery store located at https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10844x9541
     
    I managed to lure over a dozen or so zombies from the surrounding area into that store and kill them one by one. About 30% to 50% of the time, they had dry goods on their corpses such as canned food, peanut butter, oats, etc. Supposedly, this also works to create other "limited" resource items in other room specific item types, such as soap from bathrooms, books from bookstores, etc.

    I looked into the java and lua a bit and I wasn't able to find any signs of this being intentional, so I suspect it might be a weird interaction between the corpse creation and the code that fills the containers in the rooms, though I definitely could have missed something there.

    If you use a saucepan as a weapon, when it is about to break, you just gotta fill it with water and pour the water on the ground, this way the condition will go back up.

    When you throw a Molotov it does not get deletet from your inventory. You can just spam them.

    Hi,
     
    As for now, internet server list advertises servers by their IP addresses only. It would be awfully nice if there'll be an option to use hostname instead of IP address there - for cases when your server IP address changes. This way, if server IP address changes, you (as a server admin) can update single dns record and players won't notice a thing. Otherwise you need to make a lot of hassle updating your save folder name. 
     
    Yes, I know that you can manually add hostname instead of IP address if you add server to favorites manually. But majority of players are using internet server list. 
     
    (Well, another solution to this problem would be to store character save files on server side, but I believe this is already planned to do).

    I've been plagued with this micro stuttering issue myself for quite some time and have tried a lot of things but nothing worked (except one).
    Basically, I had the problem for a long time, but I thought the problem was with my older GPU (had a GTX 680 - 2GB) and my "low" system memory (had 8GB).
    But the random stuttering problem persisted even after upgrading the memory to 16GB and the GPU to a GTX 1660 TI.
     
    Dropping most of the game's settings down to zero or disabled/low was the only way I initially found to bypass the stuttering problem.
    However I noticed that, when running PZ, some of my 8 logical processors where peaking to 90-100%, while others where mostly idle.
    Long story short, I disabled "hyper-threading" in my BIOS cpu settings, and the CPU usage became much more consistent (all 4 processors/cores where now similarly used around 60-70%) and the stuttering all but vanished. I only get a bit of lag when the game starts, maybe 30 seconds in, then everything runs (mostly) smoothly, with very very rare stuttering (usually when loading new map chunks).
     
    These are my current game settings:
    Fullscreen:Yes / Borderless Window: No / VSync: No / Multi-core: Yes / Post-processing: Yes / Resolution : 2560x1080 / 3D Models : All / 3D corpses : Yes / Blood Decals :100% / Lock Framerate : Uncapped / UI Offscreen Rendering : Yes / UI Rendering FPS : 15 / Texture Compression : No /  Double sized textures : Yes / Lighting quality : High / Lighting updates : 15 / New roof-Hiding : Yes / Enable Zoom :Yes (200% , 75%) / Wind sprite effects : Enabled / Door shaking on hit : Enabled / Dynamic skybox : Yes / Environment reflections : Yes
     
    Just for reference my pc specs are:
     
    i7-3770K @ 3.40GHz,
    DDR3 16GB @ 1600MHz,
    GTX 1660 TI
    PZ installed on Kingston SSD
    Win 10 x64 (1809).
    PZ 40.43 (GOG), single player

    As you can see, in all cases except one, the username is saved. But when you exit the game, the display name is used instead of the username. This creates difficulties in the automatic analysis of logs. And with manual analysis too.

    Floor Tile Template:
     

    The red square tile is the base, brown blending tiles are for dirt/sandy blends while the green ones are for grassy blends. Difference is subtle and probably doesn't matter too much though. Each tile is 128x256, so these would go with the 2x textures.

    I was testing fuel burning times on a campfire against the numbers that are taken from media\lua\server\Camping\camping_fuel.lua.  For example it says that a log should burn for 4 hours but I was getting about 2 hours.  I tested this with the other fuel sources listed and I would always get half or around about that value.

    I found the offending piece of code in media\lua\server\Camping\SCampfireSystem.lua at line 165 and 166 the same function is added to the events (the function that seems to reduce the burn times every ten minutes)

    Events.EveryTenMinutes.Add(EveryTenMinutes)

    When I comment out one of those calls then the burn times become consistent with camping_fuel.lua.  I doubt it was intentional, but if it is then ignore this plz.  This is on the current IWBUMS build

    When generator was taken frome the ground, log record does not occur. It occurs when the generator is installed, when it is destroyed by a sledgehammer, or when the generator is moved into a container. But the action of taking the generator from the ground goes unnoticed.

    If you install the generator on the ground, then an entry appears in the log

    If you break the generator with a sledgehammer, then an entry appears in the log

    If you put the generator in a container and pick it up back, the following entries will appear in the log

    But nothing will be written to the log if you take the generator from the ground.
